We upgraded to a king recently and tried out Ko⁤ala mattresses. They’re firm but still comfy and wor⁤ked well for both side and back sleeping. Def⁤initely worth checking out before making a decision

I love my sleeping duck. Had it three or four years now and no complaints at all. Before that I had a koala I think? Also came in a box. Had to return it within the 30 day trial window as it was ridiculously hot to sleep on.

It’s so so soft and comfortable but doesn’t last long. Mine last for a year (just sleep, nothing else). look at all the other comment below with dips. The thing is after koala, I can’t go back to other proper mattress. They are all feel too firm now(including ecosa and the regular David Jone brands) It’s like drugs. Just don’t start

4 years love it, I’ve tried koala (2nd) and Ecosa (3rd) they’re all good. Ecosa is super firm, sleeping duck in the middle and koala is softest

I had koala previously which I was happy enough with. But I do think the sleeping duck is a better mattress. Careful though, it's bloody heavy and much deeper than any other mattress I've had. It's quite annoying to change the sheets on. Especially by yourself. The koala was way better in that respect. It's like 20+ kg lighter

I really liked it. My partner liked it at first and then wasn't a huge fan by the end so wanted a new one. That was about 5 years of use. The koala has less structure to it (which is why it is lighter) so maybe that's why it didn't last as long. Although having said that the single mattress I got for my kid is going strong. But I suppose that hasn't had much weight on it.

Yep the bed doesn't move at all or make any noise - we didn't bother with getting the head either. Got the extra length legs for storage underneath though. We have a Koala mattress on top though!

My partner and I have been looking into getting a new mattress for a year. We took advantage of the cooling off period or "try within the first 100 days or money back guarantee" with many companies. We've done Emma, ecosa, Koala and Sleeping duck - all brands that were well marketed on social media platforms. We ended up returning all of them due to the sleep quality, feedback from friends that had the mattresses for 5+ years (ALL said the mattress sagged) and it somehow felt really hot. Learnt that foam mattresses retain heat and has no ventilation. We happened to come across ausbeds after house-sitting for a friend for 3 weeks and we had the most amazing sleep. And to our surprise, the mattress was 3+ years old. Just went to the showroom in marrickville, Sydney and bought the mattress on the spot after trying it :) will update this comment on how it goes in a few months!

I slept in a koala, can't say it's the best, but will do, they are handy as it comes in a box. My go to are If money is non-issue : Sealy Posturepedic, Crown Jewel range Otherwise: Sealy Posturepedic. Always preferred the spring mattress than latex or foam.

I bought a koala this year from Costco. Been using it for about 8 months and my back is cooked...it's way too hard for my liking. Thought it needed breaking in, but it's not improved.  Considered getting an extra topper from ikea or something, but I think I'll get a refund from Costco instead and get a proper mattress.

Koala for about 2 years now. Works great. Communication was excellent. Disposing of the box was a pain.
