We got our son a twin Leesa Kids mattress earlier this year. He's 4 now and seems very happy and comfortable with! I agree it's a Medium-Firm feel as described that should hold up well for years. We slept on a Leesa original for ten years and just bought a replacement this Black Friday, because compared to his it was obvious how soft ours got. I'm sleeping so much better. Edit: I originally typed Leesa Youth but I think we got him a Leesa Kids, sorry. I'm sure it's comparable though!
The Birch, Avocado, Naturpedic and MyGreenMattress and the Leesa Youth would be the best in this category.
The Leesa Youth is actually a solid pick for kids, it's built differently than the original Leesa because it's designed with natural materials and safety in mind for younger sleepers. It uses natural latex, organic cotton, and responsibly sourced wool instead of synthetic foams, so it's breathable and hypoallergenic. The hybrid construction with coils means it'll grow with your kid and last through different sleep stages without sagging quickly.
i bought a Leesa mattress in 2019.... still is great to sleep on
yeah, it's a nightmare trying to find one that doesn't feel like a deflated pool float after a year, but our leesa has actually held up surprisingly well for going on six years now, which is basically a miracle in mattress time.
I went to a SleePare mattress store close to me, there is one near you: SleePare Mattress Store Tysons Corner VA. This store has lots of the major online mattresses for you to try out, Leesa, Helix, BrooklynBedding, etc. I went to try them out because I wasn't gonna waste my time buying a bed online without laying on it. The sales person did not pressure me at all, there was no buy now or else crap, He seemed to know his mattresses. Though I found the bed I loved, I ultimately bought at Costco because it was 1/2 price through them. I did have to pay a few $ for a junk company to haul away my old mattress, which this SleePare was gonna charge me for anyway. When you do go in, just say you are starting your search and are trying to find the comfort level for you, don't tell them you 'need' a mattress now
