We got our son a twin Leesa Kids mattress earlier this year. He's 4 now and seems very happy and comfortable with! I agree it's a Medium-Firm feel as described that should hold up well for years. We slept on a Leesa original for ten years and just bought a replacement this Black Friday, because compared to his it was obvious how soft ours got. I'm sleeping so much better. Edit: I originally typed Leesa Youth but I think we got him a Leesa Kids, sorry. I'm sure it's comparable though!

The Leesa Youth is actually a solid pick for kids, it's built differently than the original Leesa because it's designed with natural materials and safety in mind for younger sleepers. It uses natural latex, organic cotton, and responsibly sourced wool instead of synthetic foams, so it's breathable and hypoallergenic. The hybrid construction with coils means it'll grow with your kid and last through different sleep stages without sagging quickly.

I had insane buyer’s remorse with my first online mattress (a Leesa). At first it was “wow, so comfy!” and by year two it was sag city. My advice is don’t let the first month trick you. Look for reviews from people 2–3 years in—that’s where you’ll see the truth.

I had a Leesa. Solid at first but got too soft way too fast.

60, had a spinal fusion in spring. Hip and leg pain. We just replaced our mattress. We got a Leesa. It’s a firmer one. We had an adjustable base. This mattress seems to handle it better. It was well rated on consumer reports for side sleepers (not all mattresses are). Been sleeping on it a week. Definitely sleeping cooler than our old hybrid mattress.

I went through multiple bed-in-a-box mattresses as an adult and none were as good as the REAL one I had as a teenager in the 2000s. I tried Leesa, Zinus, Casper, Amazon, and most recently Nest. Imagine telling an investor in the 90s you can sell a block of foam from china for hundreds, thousands of dollars and become a millionaire! I just want an old-fashioned spring mattress like the ones you slept on in the 80s, 90s, 00s. Foam is a gimmick that feels good at first and makes people think the mattress is better than it really is. Now that these box beds have been around for awhile people are getting wise to the game. All furniture has plummeted in quality over the last 20 years. The 2008 recession with all these companies going out of business, plus more and more people living in apartments where they don't expect to keep furniture long-term and prefer something easy to transport and order online rather than something heavy and heirloom that will last a long time. Why spend the money manufacturing a leather couch built to last 20 years that only a few people can afford when I can make fast-furniture slop that will get trashed in a couple years after the tenant moves to her 5th apartment? I bought an Aireloom. Expensive yes. I'm just hoping it lasts longer than the box mattress crap I got.
