I’m not sure why the Costco Leesas are so cheap. I just purchased the oasis chill hybrid for $750. It’s $1600 on their website. Anyway, I’m a side sleeper -175 pounds. I’m loving the oasis chill in cushion firm. It has a luxurious cradle feel, the construction seems high quality. My hip pain is has been gone since night one. I use a purple harmony pillow in tall for my neck problems. To my understanding the legend is even less firm. I would have gone for that one but my partner wants a firm feeling mattress. Imo my Leesa is the best mattress deal at Costco. I tried I few Sertas at a furniture store but they felt just sort of cheap. Not sure what the longevity will be as I’ve only had mine for a week. Crossing my fingers, I’m sick of mattresses falling apart in three years.
It comes compressed in a box. It’s heavy, you might need two people to get up the stairs.
Congrats ! I had my first sleep on it last night and I will say It felt great :) definitely the firmness I was looking for , not too firm not too soft either you still get a nice cradle without feeling locked in . looking forward to the next couple weeks to see how it meshes to my body . Hopefully you enjoy it too !
First off ill tell you that the legend from Costco and the website directly are the same . They ship out directly from the Leesa warehouse confirmed by multiple reps from Costco and Leesa .. Costco is able to sell them at a Lowe price due to its unique business model, which involves high-volume purchases and capped markups.. I’ve had my legend for about 4 months now and I’m enjoying it but I think it’s still too soft for me .. I pulled the trigger on the oasis chill a couple days before it sold out and I’m glad I did because it seems like it might be the matress I was looking for … I would recommend the legend if you like softer more plush feeling because it definitely is more on the soft side . I will say Im a combo side / stomach sleeper and I think it’s still comfy but I find myself wanting to stomach sleep more and not being able to due to my hips sagging more than I’d like which causes some pain. I will update more once I’ve slept on the oasis chill .
It was sold out for me too but it looks like it’s restocked now where I’m at ! Check ur app
Foam-only beds usually trap heat, no matter what the brand says. If you both run hot, you’ll want a hybrid with coils since they breathe better. Leesa has a model called Oasis Chill that’s designed for hot sleepers with copper foam and a cooling cover. If you also need more support, the Plus is built stronger but still keeps airflow in mind. I’ve seen customers go from waking up sweaty every night to actually sleeping through after switching to one of those. With your budget you’d be fine trying one of their higher-end hybrids, and since they come with a trial you can see if it really helps before fully committing.
You can check Costco and Sam’s. I just got a Leesa oasis chill from Costco for 641 inc tax and shipping for a queen. I can’t speak to how long it’ll last though it had good reviews across various sites when I was looking.
That's so counter-intuitive looking at the two side-by-side. The Legend Medium Plush "looks" firmer than the Oasis Chill Medium Firm because of that Euro Top.
Boom. You are dead on. I lost 42 lbs in two years and my wife was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and the pain got worse. I will never, ever, ever, buy a mattress based on "how long it will last". We recently got the the Leesa Oasis Chill Hybrid from Costco for $699 and it's the best mattress we've ever slept on. Yes, it's a racket and a big one.
To start off with a little backstory, this was the first real mattress I’ve ever purchased. For the last eight or so years I have been sleeping on a futon and I have replaced the futon mattress probably three or four times. It finally got to the point I just could not stand it anymore. I would wake up every day with numbing in my thighs and sharp stabbing pains going from my hip into my groin, but that would never happen if I slept on the couch or in another bed. So I finally decided it was time to purchase a new mattress. I went to probably a dozen different mattress stores throughout my area , including two separate Brooklyn beddings and two different mattress firms, as well as IKEA. I probably laid on a hundred different mattresses over the past month or so. Over the course of that time I knew I wanted one thing, a medium firm hybrid mattress. So I went back to multiple stores and laid on every medium firm hybrid they had and I enjoyed quite a few. I can’t say I ever laid on one that I LOVED, but most were nice and I just could not bring it down to just one choice but Brooklyn Bedding was going to be the likely choice. I learned Costco had a great return policy, and focused my search on mattress they had available. I called a few different stores and none of them had any mattresses to demo. I found 3 or 4 mattresses at Costco within my budget and over the course of a week I looked at probably every single review there was for the 4. The Leesa Oasis Chill had the best reviews, and at the time I could get the mattress through Costco for over $1000 cheaper than they are on the Leesa website. I finally had my two picks down to a Novaform or the Leesa, but with all the reviews on the Novaform talking about the horrible experience with the smell from the mattress, I chose the Leesa. I ordered it on Thursday Feb 26, the Costco website told me I would receive it the following Tuesday March 3, but I didn’t receive it til the Wednesday. One more day wasn’t a huge deal. It was delivered without much issue aside from a large tear in the box itself, but the tear did not go into the plastic wrap around the mattress. I took it in my room, unwrapped it and it didn’t expand nearly as quick as I thought it would and it made it pretty easy to move around the frame and get it placed. There was a noticeable smell in the room so I let it sit for about 6 hours with a fan on and window and door open before I put sheets on it and pillows on it. It laid on it after 8 hours and was extremely pleased, and went about the rest of my evening. It probably had about 12 full hours before I slept on it. I am not kidding when I tell you I had the absolute best sleep I have ever had. I had no plans or responsibilities the following day so I didn’t set any alarms. I went to sleep around 2 AM, woke up once at 8 to use the restroom, and then woke up again at 11. I couldn’t tell you the last time I remember sleeping a full night without waking up due to pain or numbness, and my lord is it nice. I have now slept on it for three nights, there is definitely a bit of difference compared to night 1 in terms of it softening up just a tad, but it’s still a wonderful bed. I am extremely happy with it thus far and I will continue to report back each week for the next couple of months. It’s great! I am super excited to document what the next few months looks like with this mattress.
I recently bought a Leesa Oasis Chill Medium Hybrid from Costco and it’s been good so far. Definitely was pretty firm at first but it started to break in nicely. Was about 600 dollars shipped for a queen size.
I bought this recently and find it more of a straight medium and wish it was a bit firmer.
Costco has the hybrid Leesa but branded for them. I don’t know if they have the gel top version but from what I understand they are identical to the ones they sell on their site but much cheaper. We have the top end one and love it.
