I love love my nectar! I bought the original one years ago and ended up upgrading to the more premium version last year, it’s sooo comfortable.
I'm a side sleeper and sleep hot. My wife is a side/back sleeper and is cold all the time. We both found Nectar about 5 years ago and are super happy with it. We were a little hesitant, it being one of the common memory foam mattresses at the time that come rolled up in a box but price for performance its been great. We weren't sold on Purple since we wanted to test and no stores at the time had one, otherwise we may have gone that route. But our base model Nectar has been great. Biggest thing with the temperatures for my wife and I are sheets at this point, we swap from percale to sateen pending the seasons.
Wife and I got a nectar almost 5 years ago and love it. No sag. As others have mentioned, get a mattress protector or two just to ensure longevity.
This is so subjective to you! We tried the Tempur Pro Adapt and the Nectar Hybrid Premier. We purchased the Nectar and it’s so comfortable! It doesn’t sleep warm, it gives the right amount of support for us back and side sleepers, and it was obviously less expensive. This is after having a Nectar Classic memory foam for 7 years which was still just as supportive as when we purchased it. We didn’t get rid of that one either; we moved it into another bedroom.
Whether or not a mattress is worth it or not is definitely subjective and ultimately for you to decide. That being said, I’ve had my Nectar since 2019 and it’s still just as comfortable. Zero sagging, edges still firm in place, still sleeping comfortably.
If you do go for it, I’m going to shamelessly plug a discount code. I get $100 in an Amazon gift card, you get $100 off. http://refer.nectarsleep.com/8fc2gdh2 I really like mine, try them at an Ashley furniture store before you buy. Similar to tempurpedic, but more doughy.
NOT Nectar, the worst customer service on the planet and they will cheat you out of money. I recently bought a king-sized mattress on Amazon for just over $200 to tide us over. We're planning to move soon and weren't planning to spend a ton on a mattress. So far, it's comfortable, much better than the ten-year-old Nectar.
Same, Nectar Classic. King for $1000 three years ago (cheaper now for Black Friday). Depending on your bed frame, you don't necessarily need a box spring. Super good about movement isolation - I toss and turn and it used to drive my wife nuts on our old bed. This one you can hardly feel somebody else moving around. I think what sold me versus any number of the other foam mattress companies in the same price range is Nectar has the 365 day guarantee. Some others had as little as 30 days. Sleep on it for up to a year and decide it isn't for you, you can get a refund.
