My husband and I recently purchased a king size Nectar Luxe hybrid from a reseller and it was a great decision. We knew we wanted something medium firmness but not solely foam, thus we went the hybrid route. We chose this one without testing it based on reviews and some AI research to compare similar mattresses. I can’t say enough good things about it, and for $500 it was a steal. We did end up getting new pillows after also because our previous ones weren’t working for us with this firmer mattress than we previously had. That being said, Coop pillows for us have been life changing as side sleepers. I feel like I’ve leveled up in life.
In several months, we went from my old mattress, (nectar luxury hybrid) which was hurting my lower back to a Sleepon all latex, to a sleepon hybrid (both way too firm even with toppers still uncomfortable), to a temper pedic probreeze med firm (which destroyed our body and was terrible for sex) to the final one which finally hit the jackpot I think. The winner is Aireloom Monterey. Has some bounce and support we need. Side sleeping is great on this thing. Probably the most comfortable bed I've ever owned. Pricey yes..but worth every penny. Note: It says plush, but honestly this thing is still very supportive. Its strange. Has a perfect balance.
Yeah it's pricey. I actually financed it through the store. 12 months intrest free. Better than dropping it all at once. I was going to dump it all on a credit card, but this way isn't bad. They have one model (Online only i believe) that was over $10k. Called the dove or something. This was half that price. I wouldn't have paid this price when I was younger, but im in my 40s now and I can afford things I couldn't in the past. I could have went longer than the 12 months on the finance but I didn't need too.
I'm 200lbs and my spouse is 150lbs. It's hard to explain but it supports the hips and shoulders perfectly when I turn to the side. They have several different types of the airelooms, but we went with the Monterey. They had some that were a bit more firm and one that was softer. this model felt like the goldilocks mattress, just right for what we needed. It feels like it would also be great for back sleeping as well. We went to a store and tried them all. I found out the hard way, buying online without first trying the mattress out was a huge waste of time. Luckily the previous mattresses were all returnable.
Been 2 weeks on my nectar hybrid luxe and it’s so much better than our last mattress. I like it so far! And nectar gets tons of crap reviews
So my lesson I’ve learned is you can find bad reviews for all mattresses 🤣
They’re not even close. Not in pressure relief, support, and especially not longevity. Do yourself a favor and get the Adapt. I sell both and I own the Adapt (still wish I would have just gone with the ProAdapt)
I got a nectar for side sleeping full size for about 1400 bucks it took about 6 months for the break-in but it's amazing and has great stability for some romping. It's really the pillow that you have to consider and spending $150 on a pillow is worth it but don't buy it from nectar talk to your chiropractor for the right one
