I have chronic pain, including hip pain. In the past few months I've tried 4 different mattresses. 🤦🏻‍♀️ The keeper was the Nectar Ultra all foam. I can finally get some sleep! 😴 💤

I love mine. 2 weeks in and it’s very comfy. I went all in on the nectar ultra and it’s the perfect amount of soft for me. Side sleeper and a big guy and no regrets.

Yo, I have a nectar so happy to help if you have any questions. I got the king Ultra with the adjustable frame with a massage. it helps I used this and got an extra $100 on top of the Black Friday promo. So it’s a little extra http://refer.nectarsleep.com/4qm5ztp8

I love the bed, and I’ve had temperpedic in the past too. The frame is a hit or miss. The massage doesn’t really do much, but my wife loves the lights under it. So if it’s worth it for that then it’s great. The frame is really high though, and when I zero gravity mode it’s even higher so we don’t use it at all. I wish it was a shorter frame or had an option for a short leg model

I got a nectar for side sleeping full size for about 1400 bucks it took about 6 months for the break-in but it's amazing and has great stability for some romping. It's really the pillow that you have to consider and spending $150 on a pillow is worth it but don't buy it from nectar talk to your chiropractor for the right one

You might want to check out the Nectar Memory Foam. My partner and I are both side sleepers and it's helped with back and hip pain quite a bit. It has that contouring feel without being too soft, and motion isolation is great too.

got a Nectar in my dorm last year thinking it was gonna be a win — first few months were great for side sleeping but ngl it started sleeping kinda warm in summer. mine also softened up more than I expected after like a year so I was kinda wishing I paid more attention to that part upfront.

That “starts great then softens” thing comes up a lot with memory foam. If you liked the feel at first, a firmer model or a hybrid (with coils) usually holds up better long term. For the heat, a breathable mattress protector or even switching to cotton/linen sheets can help a bit, but foam is still gonna trap more heat than coils. Sounds like it just wasn’t built for durability + hot climates.

That whole “unwrap it and it instantly becomes perfect” thing feels oversold. Mine took a full couple of days before it actually expanded evenly, and the smell lingered way longer than expected even with windows open constantly. Cover also started getting a slightly fuzzy/pilled texture near the foot area after regular use, which surprised me because it looked super smooth out of the box. Not a dealbreaker, just one of those “this doesn’t age like the marketing photos” moments. Setup itself was easy enough, but the first impression vs. a few weeks later felt like two different mattresses in terms of feel and finish.
