Glad it helped! Ours has been like that from the beginning. I didn’t think it would bother me much, but it is incredibly frustrating. It’s the Novaform ComfortGrande Gel Memory Foam 14 inch from Costco.
I am In the camp that a mattress is something that okay to splurge on as you use it every single day for hours. With that said,I was recently shopping for a mattress and came across the Novaform 14” ComfortGrande Advanced Gel Memory Foam Mattress at Costco for only $430 bc they were running a $100 off special . It was way more comfortable that the $2000 mattress I was looking at. I have it for 2 weeks so far and absolutely love it.
Novaform ComfortGrande Gel Memory Foam. 3 years. Still great. Not flippable but we rotate
My experience as well. Go, Nova!
LOVE my costco bed. it’s the Novaform 14” Comfort Grande Plus Memory Foam Mattress, Queen. IIRC you can get the box for like $500 in store and it’s sometimes cheaper in-store.
Costco has the Novoform mattresses for $400-600, depending on size. We have had a queen for more than a year, so far, and it has been great. Much better than my Tempurpedic and for a 1/4 of the price. No dips and great support for side sleeping.
The ones we got are the Novaform 14” ComfortGrande Advanced Gel Memory Foam Mattress. We have a queen and a king sized and love them both. The queen we purchased for our camper, but I have been using it after back surgery. Still no dips or issues.
Been sleeping well on the 14” NOVAFORM ComfortGrande King for nearly 5 years. It’s probably due to be rotated (haven’t since we moved homes 2 years ago), but looks and sleeps as good as new. Love it so much that we got the queen size for our guest bedroom. Kids always commented about how our mattress was so much better/more comfortable than their thin ones from IKEA, so they each got an 8” NOVAFORM DreamAway in twin about 2 years ago (I will also happily sleep on that mattress).
We've had a Novaform Comfort Grande queen size mattress for a few years now. It's held up perfectly fine and continues to be very comfortable. Wirecutter includes it among their list of the best mattresses. https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/reviews/best-mattress/ You might also inquire in r/mattress.
I bought a Novafoam Comfort mattress from Costco for my daughter’s room, and honestly it’s more comfortable than the $5,000 Tempur-Pedic we have in our main bedroom. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for something that’s not too cheap (there are a lot of sub-$500 mattresses from China on Amazon) but also not overly luxurious. Some of those higher-end mattresses easily run $3,000+, which feels a bit extreme.
I'm doing this now, starting with the Novaform Comfortgrande.
Off and on lower back pain. I'm 6' tall, 182 lbs and it sinks in excessively at my hips, with my shoulders and legs/feet remaining higher. I want to return it, but the wife wants to give it a longer chance to avoid it ending up in the land fill.
