Sam’s Club (sealy dreamlife firm) or Costco (Novaform) sealy is firmer, I have it in my guest room and needed to add a topper. Sounds like it will fit your needs. On sale for a couple hundred but don’t know what size you’re looking for…. Safe travels ✌️
Go with the hybrid. At this price point, coils will hold up better than cheap low density, low quality, foam, and they’ll sleep cooler, especially important since you run hot. You will get more bang for your buck at this level.
At 150 lbs and mostly side/stomach, a medium/medium firm hybrid will give you better support and durability than the all foam option.
I’m curious why you would sink into a firm more than you would a medium, it should be the opposite if I’m not mistaken. In regards to your other questions, from what I learned while researching for the mattress I just bought, it’s based off both personal preference and how you sleep. If you’re a side sleeper you should get a softer mattress. I only sleep on my back and on my side and the medium firm I bought has been great
I'm 5'1, 130 lbs. I chose the Sealy Hybrid firm that has the cooling gel. I'm one month in. I am a side sleeper. I chose firm bc i have rib issues in the past and too soft feels terrible. I'm afraid this is too firm. How do I know? Is your shoulder supposed to sink into the mattress when you're on your side? How much longer do i wait to know if this is the right one for me? Will it soften over time?
