What do you have currently? I have a Sealy “to go” 12” all foam “cloud” soft bed that has been amazing. It’s nearing end of life (I’m at 6 years with it) and I can get great alignment and zero discomfort. It’s just now showing clear signs of use / grooves. I personally will not buy hybrids or anything with springs. It doesn’t need to be over the top expensive but I do have a hard time finding things that are not firm. With how soft and adaptive this one is, I can’t imagine someone wanting anything firmer. I call it a marshmallow bed.
BJ's Wholesale has this 12" one for $240 thats normally $400 if you have one near you: [https://www.bjs.com/product/sealy-12-queen-memory-foam-mattress/3000000000005583253/](https://www.bjs.com/product/sealy-12-queen-memory-foam-mattress/3000000000005583253/) it comes with Sealy's 10 year warranty so its a great member value! their presidents day sale is going on until 3/18
I do! I helped design the one I sent. It’s more of a true medium. I’ve been on the manufacturing side of the industry for ~10 years. I’d say the only thing to be aware of is if you sleep on your side, you don’t want it too firm as it can put too much pressure on your shoulders and your hips! I just looked at the one you sent me and I truly would never recommend an adult to sleep on a mattress less than 10 inches and that one looks like it comes in at less than 8. It might be fine but I wouldn’t recommend less than 8 inches at the very least.
I bought a 12" Medium Memory Foam Mattress by Sealy from Wayfair in 2021 and it’s still in great shape! I love it; it’s comfy and doesn’t get lumpy or misshapen.
I have a Posturepedic foam mattress that I am about to replace, it's amazing and has held up really well for about 11 years. It's a medium firmness. I will probably go just a bit firmer when I buy a new one in a couple months.
I’m curious why you would sink into a firm more than you would a medium, it should be the opposite if I’m not mistaken. In regards to your other questions, from what I learned while researching for the mattress I just bought, it’s based off both personal preference and how you sleep. If you’re a side sleeper you should get a softer mattress. I only sleep on my back and on my side and the medium firm I bought has been great
I got the posturepedic (medium firmness) and my partner and I both love it. It’s on the firmer side so if you like that it’s a great mattress at a great price. It also comes with a 10 year warranty through sealy.
