Sealy Posturepedic (not Essentials) Typically firm If it was from MF, it'd be the Ashurst Firm If I knew what the Posturepedic Plus or Pro felt like (not on our stores floor) the The Albany Firm is perfect for a lot of my bigger guests. Its currently $2199 in a king.. Reasoning: Sealy has made beds since the 1890s, and I very seldom have a customer that ever had a bad taste in their mouth over it. All of the ones mentioned use individually wrapped coils. The edge support compared to other comparable priced brands is significantly better Basically the Toyota of the bedding world, whereas Stearns & Foster would be more like Lexus. Firm for bigger people is a generalization, as typically you need less artificial padding than other folks. They don't come rolled in boxes, which means they generally use denser materials. Not 100% why Amazon is your current preferred retailer but if you message me, im usually fairly good at making us equal if not us better for customers.

I bought the firmest full size available at Sam's, think it's a Sealy. Added a topper and it has been great.

I was on Sealy Tempurpedic hybrid firm. It was great support but I had been having pressure point soreness on my hips in the mornings. I alternate between side and back but it's predominately side. I'm 6' 1", 235. My partner and I needed to upgrade to a king. We found a great deal on the Casper at Costco ($600). It's softer than I need for my back support but not as soft as a plush pillow top would be.

I'm 40 wake up fine most morning have a hybrid firm, coil on the bottom and a 2-3" cooling gel layer on top. Think it's a sealy

I'm 5'1, 130 lbs. I chose the Sealy Hybrid firm that has the cooling gel. I'm one month in. I am a side sleeper. I chose firm bc i have rib issues in the past and too soft feels terrible. I'm afraid this is too firm. How do I know? Is your shoulder supposed to sink into the mattress when you're on your side? How much longer do i wait to know if this is the right one for me? Will it soften over time?

I have 90 days total. I don't feel joint pain, but muscle pain sometimes towards my lower back. It goes away within the hour of getting up.

My mattress is stupid expensive $3,000 sealy hybrid from Mattress Firm, but goddamn that thing is the comfiest bed I’ve ever had. Everyone loves it. My mom, my kids… EVERYONE! I’m fairly frugal but I think beds are worth splurging on. Sleep is SO important.

I would say definitely buy from Costco. They will most likely NOT remove old mattress. However where Costco usually shines is their return policy. If you order online. They will come and deliver your mattress. My daughter’s mattress completely failed, (seally hybrid queen). Costco was notified about the sides collapsed. Her mattress was picked up and her account refunded in less than 2 weeks. Zero Hassle

I’m very hot natured as well, which heats things up for my wife. I’m sure you’ll get many suggestions. My wife and I bought a new King mattress and electric bed frame that raises up and down with remote, a few years ago. We opted for a Sealy Posturepedic Hybrid with cooling technology. It has many layers that offer a combination of support. The top portion is differing densities of memory foam. We wanted that because I have a lot of arthritis. It does stay cooler than some mattresses that are just straight memory foam all the way through. I’m 6’2” 250lbs and my wife is tall and slim. But we’re not small people either. Take a couple of weekends to go and lay on mattresses. That’s a must. A decent one isn’t cheap. We didn’t buy the most expensive or the cheapest, but it still hurt my feelings. We just hadn’t bought one in about 25 years at the time. Our only regret is not going a little firmer, as the salesman suggested. Softer feels better when trying out. Lastly, go to a place where they have a bed you can lay on that has sensors which maps your body and all of your pressure points and hot spots. This takes a lot of the guessing out of what you actually need and will feel best when you get it home. We bought from a local high end furniture store who had this. At the time, mattress stores in our area didn’t offer that technology; and where we bought didn’t end up being any more expensive. Hope you find what works best for you all.
