Simulates a 30 day break-in period very well and most higher quality mattresses will feel very similar from that post 30 day break in to the 10-15 year mark.

I'm 5'1, 130 lbs. I chose the Sealy Hybrid firm that has the cooling gel. I'm one month in. I am a side sleeper. I chose firm bc i have rib issues in the past and too soft feels terrible. I'm afraid this is too firm. How do I know? Is your shoulder supposed to sink into the mattress when you're on your side? How much longer do i wait to know if this is the right one for me? Will it soften over time?
