I've been on the hunt for a replacement for my all time favorite(https://www.reddit.com/r/Mattress/comments/ixibg8/sealy\_posturepedic\_crown\_jewel/ ) forever... they just don't make 'em like they used to, heh! What I've resorted to at this point is a hybrid mattress with a foam topper with an extra thick quilted cotton mattress cover on top of that.
Do no such thing. I did exactly that. I miss my old 15-20 yo mattress. Crown jewel double pillow top. Paid $4k for it.
Try, if it sucks return. It's a pia to find a good mattress.

I got the posturepedic (medium firmness) and my partner and I both love it. It’s on the firmer side so if you like that it’s a great mattress at a great price. It also comes with a 10 year warranty through sealy.
You probably need a medium hybrid. My wife and I sleep differently, she’s a stomach sleeper and I’m a back and side sleeper. We got the Sealy posture pedic, whatever their top of the line king version is. According to mattress firm it’s the best mattress you can buy before getting into temper pedic and sleep number. Had it almost a year now and love it. Most mattress last ten years or longer so get something good as it’ll be well worth the price.
