1. Depends on what you think decent is but we start at like $120 for a queen size. 2. Yes extremely! I have a $4.5k mattress and will never spend less. 3. I do the same thing with them as I do with people I work with! Of course if I still have my once a year discount I’ll help them out. 4. A very small percent return compared to how many buy. People do exchange frequently though. 5. Tempur LuxeAdapt Soft and it’s like 4k on sale for a king. 6. Best Value is probably the Frisco 2.0 when it’s on a 72 hour sale and it’s $495 for a queen. 7. I technically have to recommend Tempur but I would even if I didnt have to. 8. So there’s no sure fire way to snag a discount outside of the sale but I will say you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Be nice to your salesperson and they will almost always reciprocate. 9. No a mattress can’t fix back pain unless it’s being caused by your current mattress. Look into an adjustable base though. Those have made the biggest difference in my back and life.

Yes! I just returned from Mattress Firm. I was able to try the Sealy Frisco Medium Euro Pillow Top Mattress. Yes, you are right! It did feel very different than the Sealy PressureSmart Firm. It felt like a normal mattress. The saleswoman strongly advised me not to get that one though she said the PressureSmart is a much better mattress. I explained it’s painful. She said to walk on the mattress to break it in. She couldn’t waive the $250 return fee. I didn’t know what to do and she strongly suggested I give the pressure smart more time. maybe it’s the Adjustable Base making it too firm? If you are searching for firm. The pressure firm is definitely FIRM. The pressure in plush was really comfortable and felt like a good mattress. I ought to have bought that one. Actually, it would have been better if I had read this great thread first!

Hi! Can you please recommend which hybrid would work for someone with a bad back? I got the frisco 2.0 medium and it was very firm. Exchanged it for the sleepy's by sealy spring plush and I'm hating how I'm sinking in it on day 2 already. The manager MAY allow us one more exchange. Should I swap it for the same mattress with medium firmness? Or something else all together? For reference, I had the sealy summer rose (discontinued) before and loved it. Thank you so much!

Better research more and try more. I had some of my best sleep in my sister’s single bed in Australia, it was Sealy. Years later after getting married, I decided to splurge on a good King size mattress and bought a Sealy Plush medium firmness for around rm10-12k after discount. Damn, after a couple of years, the bed lost its firmness and we had back, shoulder aches. Their advertised titanium coils are BS. Put up with the bed for 7 years because it felt such a waste after spending that much. Now I’m looking to replace my bed and I’m staying clear from pocket spring beds, they just don’t last long and offer a good back support. Most of the famous premium brands unfortunately use pocket springs, e.g Serta, Sealy, etc. I’m now looking for a bed with a combination of coconut husk fibre & latex, very few have that. Getha has a few models but also extra other foam layers at the bottom, e.g Icon & Genetics model. Another option is Fibrelux with a latex topper.

I always have bought Sealy mattresses with the pillow top, you can get it in different firmness. They last many many years, super comfortable. Make sure you have a good solid support for the mattress (i use a box spring and a small frame). I would suggest not going for a cheaper one, I think with mattresses there really is a price difference in quality.
