I just recently replaced a 15 year old Tempurpedic classic mattress with a Sealy hybrid Walsh mattress that I purchased from Sam's Club. I too had chronic back pain every morning. The new mattress seems to have been my solution. I did have some shoulder fatigue the first couple of nights, however, the back pain was gone pretty much immediately. Sealy had this mattress listed as medium but it's closer to firm. I would say that it was a great purchase and replacement. Good Luck.
I bought a 12" Medium Memory Foam Mattress by Sealy from Wayfair in 2021 and it’s still in great shape! I love it; it’s comfy and doesn’t get lumpy or misshapen.
Hey y’all! I have recently tried replacing my old (decade) whatever-mattress. I had to do it quickly due to finding out sagging was causing major back and hip pain. I am entirely a side sleeper, and a sensitive one. Due to hip pain and needing more support I tried PressureSmart™ 2.0 Plush 11.75" Mattress (copied from my receipt lol). In store it felt fine! When I got it it was hard as a ROCK. I tried 2 months and never broke it in. The other issue I was having is we live near a somewhat busy road. It has never been a problem, but this new one I was transmitting vibrations like CRAZY. I tried throwing on a memory foam topper and that helped, but it did not come close to making it work. Genuinely the worst sleep of my life. I went back to the store, realizing I needed way more motion isolation, so I tried a hybrid “Posturepedic® Elite Hybrid High Point II 14" Medium“, which is half memory foam. This one I \*really\* liked in the store, but when I was lying on it last night I had the SAME issue with vibrations and small motions being transmitted, maybe worse. But I do find it very comfortable, outside of that! I’m really confused at this point. I never had this issue with my old worn out mattress - maybe it was too broken in? I’m worried I need to now figure out full memory foam. Maybe it still needs to be broken in? My partner has just a crappy ikea mattress with a memory foam topper and this just isn’t an issue in their room. I actually had to swap with them a couple nights just to get some sleep. Accepting suggestions and advice. I have a few vibration dampener things coming in for my bed stand (which is an old ikea one I admit).
I got my sealy pp from slumberland and still deciding if I like it. I got the medium hybrid. I wanted the soft cause it felt so much more comfy but I’m a side and back sleeper and trying to convert into full back sleeper so I decided to go with medium for that reason. I don’t get the “ahhh I’m so comfy feeling” when I get into bed but I do sleep through the night and wake up way less sore. I know slumberland has a one year exchange as long as you have a mattress cover
Just went through this. Went to countless stores. Multiple sales people tried telling me which bed was the best with the best warranty. I finally noticed that a hybrid was the type of bed I found to be the most comfortable. First noticed the sealy medium hybrid. Then figured I would just lay on a tempur medium hybrid. Loved both. Was nervous, reading that hybrids sleep hot. I ended up getting qoutes on both with adjustable bases. Sealy was around 4200. Tempur was like 6500 or 7k. Really didnt want to spend that much. Hopped online as I live in a city. Found countless wholesalers and resellers selling similar beds. Purchased the sealy first. Medium hybrid. Sealed brand new in plastic for 400. It was queen for my spare bedroom. I felt that I needed to test it out myself for multiple nights before buying a King for my master. Slept through the whole night. Woke up in the same position I fell asleep in. Couldn't get enough. Biggest concern for me is summer with all the reviews stating memory foam sleeps hot. Ended up spending a little extra on a returned tempurpedic medium hybrid cool breeze. I found one for $750. I was very concerned buying a bed that I know was returned from a previous owner within 90 days. But im happy to say I've been getting the best sleep I have ever gotten in my life. Im beyond thrilled. After spending weeks reading and shopping beds, I hope my shared experience can be of some help.
Sealy medium hybrid. I was in the same boat with my foam mattress and switched to this. Things have been much better!
Sealy medium hybrid. Love it! It’s held up and I’ve had it for about a year now
