I got the Sealy Posturepedic Pro Highland Manor 13" Medium Mattress a few months ago and it's great so far
Same. Ultimately, we went with Costco to have them haul off our old latex mattress. They only have certain ones that have this service, so we chose Sealy Posturepedic Pro Highland Manor in Medium. My husband likes med on the firmer side, I like soft but not sagging, so I added a twin topper to my side on the king. Based on the feel of this mattress, you could also go with Lincoln Heights for those who want softer or firmer than med as it is basically the same mattress but with a soft and firm option instead.
I bought a $599 stiff Costco mattress (Highland Manor) and a $300 soft latex topper, it’s feeling like a good build for the price.
I bought the Sealy highland manor in warehouse and I fucking love it. I’ll never go back to those bed in a box one’s. I think I’ll probably only buy the spring ones offered in warehouse. I feel like they’re a great value for the money. I paid $500 for a queen
Same. I dumped my after just three years, it sagged so much. Now on Sealy Hybrid from Costco. It’s been a few weeks and it’s so much better.
Huh? Mine is a Sealy - and it’s a pocket coil mattress (posture pedic range iirc). I like it personally. My last mattress is also from Sealy but I didn’t have any problem with it🤷🏻♀️
Yea the sealy hybrids aren’t the most contouring but they definitely have more foam so more pressure relief and the high point has the phase change. Honestly the Albany and the pro are so similar to each-other I don’t typically floor the Albany I floor the firm and medium pro hybrids exact same coil base and although the foam layers are slightly different they have the same profile I didn’t think the Albany offered enough difference although I do have it on 1 floor but I have 30 sealys on that floor.
What’s everyone’s thoughts and feedback on them? I am thinking of bringing them into my store to see if they drive some traffic my concerns are we have never been successful with Latex beds and we have tried many times perhaps we haven’t had the right line up or we don’t have the right pitch. The upsides I see is they advertise a lot and not many people in our area that carry them but wanted some feedback from all of you on them.
The sealy high point is a great mattress and tempur makes great bases so no I wouldn’t expect any issues as long as it’s comfortable to you
I used to be overweight and was told that as firm as you could bear was best for mattress firmness. I lost the weight several years ago but still preferred firm mattresses out of habit. Now I'm shopping for a new mattress. I've got it down to two, both Posturepedics, a "firm" that you sink down into and a "medium" that you sink less into and actually feels more firm. Honestly, I don't have a strong preference between either of them. I imagine some days I'd prefer the softer one and some days I'd prefer the firmer one. The firmer one is very slightly more expensive; is it still worth it for someone with normal range BMI to go firmer if preference is about the same?
Ah that's good to know, I think Casper is moving away from the firm/medium/soft thing because of this. The models are the Albany II in Medium and the Pro (I think it's the Lacey II?) in Firm. Both felt good laying on my back as if I were falling asleep.
