Sealy Risbury Tight Top Firm. It’s a traditional type imnerspring reminiscent of mattresses from 20-30 years ago. It has more of a medium firm bouncy feel. I use a plush 1.5 inch latex topper with it. It’s helped my back pain and I sleep much better. YMMV.

I got a basic firm sealy (or serta?) spring mattress and use with a latex topper. I’ve been following this sub for a while and think this is the best advice. Basically build your own bed on top of a firm foundation. I’d rather throw away $200-$300 on the wrong latex topper than $3000-$4000 on the wrong mattress.

I have a bad back and need a firm mattress. I went back to sleeping on my old Sealy classic posturepedic firm mattress with the old style bonnel innersprings. I went to The Mattress Factory in Fort Worth and had them make me a mattress just like the old kind with basic bonnel innersprings and no pillow top. Then I put a 2 inch memory foam topper on it. The mattress is flippable and is very comfortable and should last years.

I bought the firmest full size available at Sam's, think it's a Sealy. Added a topper and it has been great.

Definitely NOT memory foam. I bought a TempurPedic mattress, and never had worse hip and lower back pain than after sleeping on that. It's now in my guest bedroom, and I sleep comfortably on a nice firm traditional mattress made by Sealy.

I have a Sealy tight top (not sure which model) which I'm pretty happy with. I decided to avoid getting a pillow top, since I could create one myself later if I need one by adding a mattress topper.

Same. Also bought a full sized firm Sealy innerspring and box spring, delivered along with my Novaform. The Sealy has also held up really well.
