I'll second Silk & Snow. We got new mattresses last year for our bed (king size hybrid mattress) and our daughters (double size all foam) and both are amazing. We're definitely going to go with them again in the future.

Third for silk and snow. We've bought a couple hybrids from them now. They recently had a deal where you get a bedding bundle with a mattress purchase too!

I sprung the extra $200 for the premium bundle so I could get the adjustable pillows. They are so good.

We love our Silk and Snow Hybrid. We also have a Douglas and it works but it’s a bit firm for me.

I purchased earlier this year from silk and snow the hybrid model. So far so good, I prefer a more firmer mattress as well since I’m a side sleeper. And this has been working out good since I purchased it back in Feb.

We got the hybrid medium firm. It was 900 at the time and had the same free bundle of sheets and stuff. I will say we do wish we upgraded for $200 to the better duvet and sheets and mattress protector

I’m really happy with my silk and snow medium firm hybrid mattress. I would not suggest taking the sleep bundle though, it’s shit. I returned it quickly after and asked them to price match their 15% off sale which took place shortly after I purchased. They begrudgingly obliged after I said I could theoretically return the mattress within 365. Mattress is really nice though! https://www.silkandsnow.com/en-ca/hybrid-mattress/?size=queen&type=firm

We have a silk and snow mattress. It's a hybrid so springs and foam. It's about 7 years old now and still going strong. Happy with it.

Hey! We totally get how frustrating mattress shopping can be. Choosing a mattress option that you can trust is hard when there are so many different factors. However, no single review is perfect because comfort is so personal. What matters most is choosing a mattress that is specific to your needs that lasts. Since you both sleep on your side, stomach, and you’re around 5'9" & 5'4", a medium-firm hybrid is usually the best sweet spot to give enough pressure relief on your shoulders while still keeping your hips aligned on your stomach. If you are set on a hybrid and want something that truly fits side and stomach sleeping while staying within a reasonable budget, the Silk & Snow Hybrid is an option you could consider. It offers a balanced medium firm feel that gives enough cushioning at the shoulders and hips for side sleeping while still keeping the midsection properly supported for stomach sleeping, which helps prevent lower back strain. The coil support system provides stability and durability, especially for two sleepers, while the comfort layers on top add pressure relief without that “sinking in” feeling. It also sleeps cooler than many all foam mattresses thanks to better airflow through the coils and breathable materials. If you're able to, we would always recommend going to a Silk & Snow store to try out the different mattresses, our trained store associates would be happy to help. And you can send us a message on here too!

If cooling is one of your top priorities, a hybrid is definitely the way to go! The coils allow for much better airflow than an all-foam build, which can help prevent heat from getting trapped. Since you mentioned you and your wife are combo sleepers, a medium-firm hybrid is usually a solid middle ground for proper support while still giving enough pressure relief for side sleeping. The Silk & Snow Hybrid could be a great fit for what you’re describing. It’s designed for breathability, uses a cooling quilted cover, and the coil system helps with airflow and motion isolation. You can try it in person if you’re near one of our showrooms, or order online with the 365-night sleep trial if you prefer to test it at home. Happy to answer any specific questions about the construction or feel! Please feel free to reach out to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) :)

r/MattressStruggling to pick the right hybrid mattress, What else I should look next?

Hi everyone, My wife and I are shopping a queen mattress and have already tried few options, but not settled on a good fit. Could you give me suggestions to pick the right one? We are a 40 years old healthy couple. She is very slim, 5'5 108lbs, and I am 5’10 163lbs. Both are back-side combination sleeper but leaning toward back primarily.  We reside in Canada and our budget is somewhat limited somewhere around 1500CAD.  Our mattress history is as follows… The first mattress we tried was Emma Performance Hybrid, which immediately failed as its rock slab like firmness and too direct foam/textureless surface. This experience steered our decision to softer option that was Silk and Snow hybrid Plush. But our hips sank too deeply and shoulders pushed inward due to its excessive(just for us) softness, then that caused spinal misalignment with pain at lower back and neck. Finally, we have been testing Silk and Snow Organic Hybrid Firm for a week. This is even little harder than Emma, but with textured top layer. It makes my hands and arms lightly numb/tingling… needless to say no good for our shoulders when we lie on our side. We have experienced medium-firm options at a S&S store but did not like the feeling... We are currently looking at DreamCloud Premier Hybrid and Brooklyn Bedding Signature Hybrid but any other suggestions would be also appreciated.
