I’ve been using the same bed mattress for close to 10 years now, and my back sure does have something to say about it. Being a hard-working individual in London, I require something comfortable but also not too soft. Have any of you out there managed to find a mattress that really makes a significant improvement to your sleep? **Edit**: I went with a [**Simba Sleep**](https://simbasleep.com/collections/simba-hybrid-mattresses) mattress and it’s been really good for me. It's supportive without feeling too soft and my back’s been a lot better. Kinda wish I’d swapped out my old one sooner.
I love mine. Mine is a Simba 2500. A firm one. I've slept on this bed for like two years now with zero issues. Here's the link (I'm using the .ca bc I'm Canadian, just make sure they can ship to where you live) https://simbasleep.ca/
We’ve had a Dormeo octa spring for 5 or 6 years now and been really happy with it. We returned a Simba in the free trial period because it just wasn’t great.
Oh man, I totally get the back pain and sleeping hot thing. My old mattress was a nightmare for that. I actually ended up trying a simba sleep hybrid a couple of years ago after hearing good things, and honestly, it made a huge difference for me. The combination of springs and foam really does help with support and keeping cool, and I barely notice my partner moving around anymore, which is a lifesaver.
Honestly, I was in the same boat with the back pain and side sleeping, and after trying a few things, I ended up getting a simba sleep mattress, and for me, it's actually been pretty solid for keeping cool and my back feels way better, lol, no sagging issues yet either.
Also have a Simba, also ended up with a big dip where I slept and a lot of back pain. They need to be rotated frequently which we didn’t realise and now we have a useless mattress that can’t be slept on- for various reasons including being away a lot at the time it went past the guarantee period before the problem came to light. Would not buy a foam mattress again, would only get a traditional pocket spring one.
Simba for me. Had an Emma and hurt my hips but Simba was perfect. Gf has an Emma and wouldn’t swap it for the world!
Agree, Ikea. We tried Simba, Emma, and Silent Night. The Ikea one is the only one that is a) comfortable b) hasn't sagged. A friend recommended them years ago and I didn't listen at the time, I wish I had!
