I prefer firm beds however the simba lux felt medium at most , It felt amazing both on back and side. Have only tried it for one night. The 200 day trial is enough to decide if I'll be swapping g it for something firmer

We’ve had a Dormeo octa spring for 5 or 6 years now and been really happy with it. We returned a Simba in the free trial period because it just wasn’t great.

Agree, Ikea. We tried Simba, Emma, and Silent Night. The Ikea one is the only one that is a) comfortable b) hasn't sagged. A friend recommended them years ago and I didn't listen at the time, I wish I had!

Simba is the worst one. I bought two 2.5K mattresses (their most expensive ones). They exchanged them after 1 year. The newer ones are still really poorly built and offer no support. I keep them because I can’t come to peace with losing 5K.

Obviously mattresses are personal, but really love our Simba mattress and find it extremely comfortable and supportive whether on your back or side. The only other mattresses that springs to mind (pun intended) when we were very comfortable are those at Four Seasons resorts and the Luxury Collection mattress at Gritti Palace.

Ice owned a leesa king size mattress and it was our favorite mattress of all-time. We upgraded to a super king size but leesa is no longer available in the UK. We have a Simba Hybrid now and it's not as comfy as the leesa and starting to sink now. What would you recommend as the closet equivalent to the leesa full foam mattress that is available in the UK in 2025?

Make use of the Trial Periods. It takes a month or two to really try out a new mattress. Simba give you well over 6 months for instance.

According to the Simba FAQ, depending on the conditions of the matress, it's either refurbished, recycled, or donated to charity.

Simba will replace as they have a 10 year warranty, I’m currently on my 3rd in that period. When they won’t replace anymore I won’t be buying another.

I used to own a furniture store and flogged all kinds of mattresses and let me tell you; it's very subjective. We currently sleep in utter comfort on a Simba, but many consider mattress-in-a-box brands a bit shit. I personally hate most Vispring mattresses and love most John Lewis ones. Thing is; it means nothing to you. We'll distribute our weight differently and our bodies will want different support and a different feeling in general. I've also noticed the mattresses I like to sleep on are the worst mattresses for other bedtime activities... so that's unfortunate.
