How’s your bed frame? A badly designed frame will deteriorate mattresses at a faster rate, especially for those at a higher weight. If slatted, most suggest spacing of less than 3” apart as ideal. Each slat needs to be a minimum of two and a half (2.5) inches wide. I’m not sure how long you’ve had the current mattress but consider laying it on the floor to see if that changes anything. As mentioned by u/Hamuq, if you sleep hot then majority foam mattresses aren’t ideal. I have an all latex mattress that does sleep cooler than a polyfoam mattress I’ve tried, but my parent’s hybrid is more breathable and thus sleeps cooler. I have purchased from Engineered Sleep and their service has been great as well, I have no idea what they’d recommend you but I highly recommend contacting them and asking any and all questions since they definitely don’t want people returning a mattress. If I were in the market today and had the same budget that I had then, then I’d probably go for either the Duo Latex/Lift or the LMF Luxerion, or something local to me. Regardless of what you end up deciding on, I highly recommend calling them up before buying.

My latex bed arrived in January. I looked and investigated for a long time. My post is here somewhere. Latex for Less is great. But when you want to flip it, you'll go harder or softer. Hybrids don't last as long. Back to SleepEZ. I really dug in and examined every product they make. I bought the Natural. (They also make a slightly more organic option for a slight premium). The main reason? The latex comes in layers that are designed by your height and weight. I really plan on this being the last bed we purchase, and I want it to be perfect. The layers can be exchanged to custom fit the sleeper. The original top layer was too firm for me. I called the company and I received a replacement in 3 days. They were easy to work with, very professional and the quality is top notch. The warranty is crazy long, the lifespan is 15 to 20 years. My husband is happy and should I decide I want less firm or more firm, I call the company for a $30 exchange. I'm a consumer, I dont work for this company. But I'll sit all day and write reviews for this company because I've had enough getting ripped off, buying crappy products that are made to look good, only to fail in 18 months. The amount of money we've spent in the last 10 years on mattresses is staggering. Mattress buying is hard. It shouldn't be. SleepEZ was the answer for us. The layers make the bed customizable and durable.

Im going in to edit my post. My apologies. My husband and I were discussing this as I was typing. I mixed it all up. We bought SleepEZ. Not Sleep on Latex. Sleep EZ was as described above. They have a phenomenal product. The biggest reason for our choice is the build able mattress. It took 2 of us 20 minutes to put it together. The layers can be swapped, as I explained above. We are both side sleepers, I'm short, he's tall, different weights, he likes a firm bed. I hate a firm bed. I need support, but soft. If for some reason I need a more firm mattress, I can call them and do a layer exchange. Thats the beautiful part! I modified. I originally thought a medium top Dunlop layer would be good, but I was wrong. After a couple weeks, I called the company and we figured out that I'd need a top layer of medium Talalay. Talalay is not included in The Natural 13". It is in The Organic. Talalay costs more. So it was straightened out and the result is the best sleep ever.

My side is ex firm on bottom, firm, medium (all Dunlop) and medium Talalay on top. Its a 13" mattress. It is organic. The Organic choice is as well, but you're paying for the certification. Choices.

I had all Dunlop. The top medium layer was too firm. I switched for a layer of Talalay. Its heaven.

Buy a natural latex mattress. Stop playing with crappy memory foam. Its garbage and full of nasty chemicals. SleepEZ has amazing quality latex

Sure. Sleep EZ Sleep on Latex Latex for less. I'm on a few reddit mattress threads due to 10 years of mattress hell and more than a year of going down a deep and dark mattress rabbit hole. I really dont think that anyone should have to do this. It sucks. But... I can say this: the memory foam mattresses made from time of Covid to current (IMO) are garbage. Absolute shit. We spent a lot of money on garbage and promises. We researched Latex because I had slept on my mother's childhood latex mattress forever. Look into the difference of quality and duration for latex vs. Hybrid vs. memory foam. Stop getting ripped off. The mattress industry is robbing us and it's filling up landfills. The bed we chose will take us through the next 20 years. Its customizable to each person. Should something go wrong or you want a different firmness, you have the ability to fix or replace a top layer. My back doesn't hurt anymore. My hips don't hurt anymore. It's Genius.

We purchased from SleepEZ this January. I was really impressed at the attention to detail and commitment making us happy. We bought a king Natural, layered to customize. It's amazing. My hips dont hurt, our backs are better than they've been in years. We haven't been to the chiropractor this year.

They send you another layer and they pay for you to send the other back. No off gassing, no formaldehyde or chemicals. You can get Talalay layers for the "sinking" feeling . You do NOT need to spend $3k to get a great mattress. We just replaced (yet another), very expensive ($3k) mattress with a Latex bed from SleepEZ. Memory foam has gone downhill in quality, its full of chemicals, off gasses, fills up landfills, etc. It's pure trash. I dont know where you live, but if you cant try a latex bed out, I recommend you call SleepEZ, or Latex Mattress Factory, or Latex for Less. Talk to customer service. They can help you understand what you need based on weight / height. Get educated on the bs that mattress shopping is. Its a GRIFT! Our new mattress was $2250, and we know without a doubt that it'll last 15/20 years (warranteed) and then some. I know this 100%. I've had a latex mattress before. Stop falling for the hype. Honest to God, these crappy memory foam mattresses are a scourge.

Maybe its time to re think memory foam. Its crap, and the quality has only gotten worse since covid. Look into latex. You wont have to return it, its customizable. Or buy one of the ones you mentioned, and in 2 years you'll be back here looking for another mattress. How do I know? I bought all of those, spent a fortune and was mad as hell every time they wouldn't honor their warranties. I FINALLY talked my husband into going the latex route. No more problems. My SleepEZ mattress is mostly Dunlop. I returned the top layer for a Talalay layer. (That's the greatest thing about these beds...they are 100% customizable.) My husband's side is very firm. He loves it. My side is now perfect and we've got a 20 year warranty. Got a divot or a sag? Call the company and they'll exchange a layer. Its that easy. Im done spending a fortune only to have the memory foam fail in less than 2 years. Side note: My mom had a latex bed around 1950. It became mine in the 60's. I used it till 1989. That same mattress is now sitting in a spare room in New England.

The price they charge has ZERO to do with quality or durability. Its a scam. All of them are b.s. I've had a $5k mattress fall apart in 3 years. Ive had a $3k mattress last 2 years (several times). My bestie spent $3k last Fall. The bed is worthless now with hills and valleys (yes, 6 months later) Another spent $4,500. All the stitching came out, and the Serta people won't do a thing about it. Memory foam is garbage, full of chemicals. Its made very cheaply now, not like 20 years back. We spent A LOT of money in 10 years on mattresses. No more. Look into latex. Latex. SleepEZ sells literally a block of pure latex, you stack them up from firm to soft to make your bed. Whole thing is encased in zippable cotton / wool covering.

The covering? Other than the zipper yes. The mattress is just a slab of latex.

I ended up buying 100% latex from SleepEZ and have not regretted it for a moment. I've slept just fine on a lot of memory foam mattresses, but wanting something that was going to be BIFLT, memory foam just can't be trusted unless you are a featherweight.

If you are looking for BIFL and durability, 100% latex is the only way to go. Memory foam is simply not anywhere near as durable, and will always have some combination of sagging/body indentations, edge collapse, material degradation due to heat/humidity/oxidation in the long run. I've had a latex king mattress for 8 years now and it is the exact same as the day I purchased it. SleepEZ.com They make a latex, customized 4 layer mattress which can be split in a king to offer comfort depending on weight on both sides. I was 448 lbs and used tue configuration tool to get a great bed for my weight. As I’ve lost over the last 1.5 years I’m now 287 and have swapped a few layers to better fit my new weight.
