So I recently tried the Brentwood- really nice mattress but didn’t feel like it would hold up in the long run- retuned- good customer support. I have a Helix midnight luxe in my guest room. Good mattress but I also don’t think this would hold up after a lot of time. Tried beatyrest black- really disappointed- and I returned- finally settled in sterns and foster and I am very happy. Im a back and side sleeper. Went with the medium pillow top Lux Estate. Expensive but worth it.

Hi there- I've been struggling for over a year - bought a Spring Air back supporter mattress -14.5G zoned coils and eurotop - my hips sink down in foam and then have hip pain and although it feels soft, I also get shoulder pain. I've tried so many different toppers and nothing has worked- Currently making my own zoned topper (softer foam 10ILD for shoulders and HR 28ILD firmer foam for hips to keep hips from sinking) but would much prefer a mattress that did not need a topper. I'm a petite (5') lightweight side sleeper with shoulder bursitis flares so shoulders need soft but hips need a medium-soft. I wish I could find a plush mattress with a zipper that would allow me to put a shim in the hip section. Seems so hard to find a medium-soft 4/10 mattress- all the soft ones are way too soft for my hips and every medium mattress 5 or 6/10 is too firm for me. Latex does not work. Trying to avoid zoned coils as it did not work well with the Spring Air. I see that some companies are now zoning the foam or using a shim piece. Would prefer a hybrid as I have never had an all foam mattress and I do sleep hot so not interested in all memory foam. Tempurpedic did not work- I tried the lux adapt medium hybrid- great for back, but terrible on my side. And their soft versions, I sank and then hit hard surface. I tried the BR world class 4 plush and it was way too soft. The level 3 plush felt too firm in the store so I thought the 4 would work but nope. I previously had a Stearns and Foster from 2016 that was a luxury plush pillowtop - always was a bit too firm for my shoulders but hips never sank and I was ok until 2 years ago when I was sleeping slanted as the edge support is too good. I tried the Stearns lux estate medium hybrid and it arrived defective - big hump in the center and I hated the deep divets. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Stearns and Foster Lux Estate in Medium

No! It’s been great. The medium firm took a little bit of getting used to - we didn’t get one with a pillow top. But my husband and I like it a lot.

The Stearns and Foster Lux Estate euro top medium/firm are really nice mattresses. They're definitely expensive, but they have high quality latex (just enough, not too much to where you sink into it) and the beds breathe very well. I would make sure to fulfill all the terms of the warranty, though. Some Stearns have had longevity issues. I think the euro tops are more resistant to sag than their pillow top mattresses, but it's still something worth researching before buying.

I recently got a Stearns and Foster Estate Luxe. It’s not cheap but it is an absolute dream of a mattress. I am hypermobile and also have neck/spinal issues due to being fused in most of my spine. The part of my spine that is not fused is unfortunately in pretty rough shape and causes a lot of pain, as well. Upgrading to a really nice mattress has saved me a lot of pain (not that it totally gets rid of it but it certainly helps). I have a cooling pillow cover and mattress cover and that adds to the luxury.  If you have capability, I’d recommend going to a mattress store and testing them all out. Assess your budget and go from there.  I will say that mattress toppers/cooling bedding products will also wildly upgrade the comfort of a bed.

I also believe the best soft hybrid is the Stearns and Foster Luxe Estate Hybrid P

BeautyRest Black or Stearns and Foster Luxe Estate are some of the only ones that use Latex that we carry. All latex mattresses are typically very expensive

New ones yes. Old model fuck no. Best innerspring in my opinion is the Luxe Estate Stearns and Foster or the Stearns and Foster Reserve.

I have a Stearns and Foster Luxe Estate Hybrid and I plan on getting a Tempur soon! You should replace your mattress every 8-10 years unless it’s fine and clean

BeautyRest Pressure Smart Xtra Firm or Stearns and Foster Luxe Estate Ultra Firm. Very good!

Stearns and Foster Luxe Estate and then whatever softness you want. The coils in that mattress are superb! Intellicoil is what it’s called and it’s a coil-in-coil design that makes them last far longer than other coil types!

Stearns and foster lux hybrid, firm. My chiropractor recommended it and I regret taking 3 months to finally pull the trigger due to the price. I’m 6’3” 170 back sleeper and the wife is 5’9” 140 side sleeper. I have back issues from birth so finding one that doesn’t aggregate the pain is incredible. Even the wife says it’s the best sleep she’s had.
