I ordered one yesterday, it arrives Wednesday. Will report back after a couple nights sleep.

I have been sleeping on it for a few nights now, it is definitely firmer than the original lake ridge pillow top I had a while back, and the tempurpedic medium firm hybrid I just returned. I'm still not used to it yet ( but my wife thinks it's fine). We added a very light bamboo topper, overall I'm pretty pleased. We have it on an adjustable platform base, but keep it flat. If you're on the fence and want a nice firm hybrid mattress for a reasonable price. I would recommend you give it a try. You really can't lose with Costco return policy. For weight comparison I'm 300lb and she is 150. Hope this helps!

Yes, it's still nice and firm. Edge support is really good. I like it. My back pain has been acting up these last few days but I think it's more arthritis related than the mattress. Time will tell.

r/MattressCan someone just tell me what bed to get from Costco? My spine is dying.

At your body type, the Kirkland lake ridge mattress may work best. I loved it for about a year, but I'm over twice your size so it wore out rather quickly.

I have this and LOVE IT. I added a topper for softness on the top and it has such awesome support but perfectly soft (and the softness is adjustable now) so it’s awesome

r/MattressIs a $4k mattress really that much better over a $1k one?

The Stearns and foster lux estate is sold at Costco as the lake ridge mattress for $999. I have it and LOVE it, I got it from some guy brand new on Facebook marketplace for $389. Take a look and see because there are a lot of mattress warehouses that are selling close to the bulk price

They change the outside design for sure. But based at this analysis they have nearly identical coil counts and thicknesses. I just had the tight top version delivered last weekend. It replaced a 20 year old firm S&F. It sits on a pretty good set of box springs. So far it's exactly what we wanted. I did notice, however, that this item has now been removed from the website. Anyone know why?

We like it a lot. No sagging after 5 weeks, but that doesn't say much. I'd wait for it to go on sale for $150-$200 off.

We got ours last weekend and it is definitely firm. Still hoping it breaks in or we might have to swap it. We didn’t like the pillow top but this one is definitely very firm.

I never tried the pillow top but after trying similar at the stores I decided that it might be too soft in general so that’s why we went with the firm top, but I have a feeling it just takes a couples weeks to break in.

Got mine today. It's exceeded expectations. Very high quality and the nicest mattress I've ever purchased. Excited to take my first flight in minutes! The only thing I'm surprised about is the firmness. It sits somewhere between firm and very firm however with break-in I'm thinking it'll settle perfectly for my aging 39yo back

Super high quality. In the matter of a week my back pain from my previous soggy mattress is gone. I love it. Only thing to note is it's between firm and extra firm. I anticipate it breaking in but may pickup a topper in the coming week as it's too stiff for my girlfriend. Would recommend.

Out of the 9 or so Costco mattresses (Lessa Legends, Novaform, Sealy Posturepedics, S&F, and BeautyRest) I've tried so far, I like this one the most (and hate the Novaform Legacy with a passion). It's weird because my first Costco mattress was the S&F Kirkland Medium pillowtop, and it was mid. I could be remembering incorrectly, or my back is washed after all the mattresses since it's been a while, but I recall it initially being too firm for me and disliking the very divoted (?) patterned top. Either way, it doesn't matter because it ended up sagging/dipping near the hip area after a year. Now that I've slept 2 nights on the S&F Kirkland Firm tight-top version, I can only wish it won't dip like the previous S&F, because it has everything I like: med-firm (imo it's 7.5 or 8/10), the best edge support (out of all tried beds), not-boiling-alive-inducing materials, and excellent motion isolation (might be even better than the S&F Med). The last point is highly desirable because I sleep with my bf (6'0, 200+ lbs), and I'm 95 lbs, so most beds make me roll to one side. The only cons I can think of (which also applies to the Med-ver) are: it's too heavy for me to change sheets, and it's 14'' tall.

Plan on buying the SF Lakeridge Tight top this week. Went to local mattress store & tried the SF "Estate" and felt pretty firm. Since this is 3+ inches higher than old mattress, I bought this 4" split-queen, fully assembled box-spring off Amazon: [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GMJ9HQMX?ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_fed\_asin\_title&th=1](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GMJ9HQMX?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1) Thinking that this 'solid-surface' box-spring should work out well for my setup

Been sleeping on new SF mattress and boxspring I got from Amazon for 2 nights now & I love it. Bed sits about same height as old bed. Mattress feels different than traditional innerspring mattress but so far so good. Solid surface pre-assembled boxspring is awesome. Easy to unpack & place on bedframe

rec'd this yesterday from amazon. mattress to be delivered tomorrow. Item fits perfectly in my standard queen bedframe and looks great. packaged well in one big box and arrived in good condition. shipped from hagerstown, maryland and arrived to Wisconsin 3 days after order placed. i'm happy so far and think this will provide good support for this mattress and will be at right height for my needs.

We just got ours today. Sadly the last mattress we had (#8, a cheap amazon one after several very expensive costco one) started getting soft on day 45 so we sent it back to amazon and had this come today. So far we are NOT happy with the delivery. There was a clump of black something on the mattress after they took the cover off, leaving a little spot after we wiped it. The plastic cover must have shredded since there are two holes on the cover of the mattress as well. We would never notice once we put on our tencil cover but it still seems wrong to have something with holes that should be perfect and new. Will definitely try it out tonight, but we may end up exchanging for another if we end up liking it. If I remember I will post a follow up review with a photo so people know I am not shilling.

SO FAR SO GOOD.....My spouse sleeps on her side and I am on my back mostly, sometimes on my stomach to stretch out. We are on the queen. I actually woke up and had forgotten we even got a new bed which is a good sign since I was pain free and focusing on my morning activities instead of how my body felt. It is firm, not SUPER firm. It does not sink and leave you in a crater. I would say it is a 7 on a scale of 10. Costco sells another hybrid around the same price range that is much firmer than this one. The avocado latex hybrid they have starts more firm than this one but eventually gets too soft. We are hoping this does not go the same path since it is great as it is, brand new. The only downside for my spouse is she does not like a tufted mattress and this one has LOTS of them due to the size and density of the pattern. I love the feeling so it is personal! EDIT: I saw this post long after posting and want to say the mattress I am referring to above that is MORE FIRM than this one....The Sealy Pro Lincoln Heights 14" Firm . It would be my 2nd suggestion for decent value costco firm mattresses but I dont think it is better, we returned it. As of a month later w are still loving the Sterns and foster and very badly hope it holds up since we love it more than any of the other 6 or 7 mattresses we went through.

r/MattressCostco TIGHT TOP S&F Lakeridge Mattress

Yes! We love it still. It has softened up a little bit but is still great for us and really does fit the bill for a tight top mattress. This means you dont sink into it, but are on top of it which is the whole point of a firm mattress in our opinion. Please keep in mind we have a bed frame that is solid panels with no edge (also from costco) [https://www.costco.com/p/-/marina-del-rey-bed/4000218422?langId=-1](https://www.costco.com/p/-/marina-del-rey-bed/4000218422?langId=-1) This means we can turn the bed easily, which is great since the handles on the sides to position the mattress will rip I bet if you use them to actually pick up the mattress and turn it. The mattress is on the heavier size for mattresses now days, which is good. The bed frame also means the only sagging we will have is if the mattress does it, which gives me some confidence that this is a good one.
