Hello since you work at Mattess firm, how long does it take for a mattress to break in?? I got the tempupedic luxe breeze medium hybrid. I’ve had it almost a month. Side sleeper and sometimes I feel great and sleep awesome and other times I get out of bed and back is killing me. You already know what I spent for this, how can I get better sleep?? Really thought this would be the end all but man it’s been rough at times. About 5’11” around 250 for reference. Any suggestions? Will it loosen up more? Thanks
We recently bought Tempurpedic luxe breeze 13” medium hybrid on ergo pro smart frame. I’ve heard this sags after a while but is not visible so Tempur doesn’t do anything to make it right? Thoughts?
We just bought a tempurpedic luxe breeze 13” medium hybrid with the base. BOMB AF… and I’ve been building roads all my life with a sore back
Definitely a solid choice, in terms of Tempur you could do better you could do worse. Determine which is the bigger priority for you, cooling or budget. If it’s cooling consider that or the LuxeBreeze. If it’s budget stay with the PBMH or consider the ProAdapt medium hybrid. If you can find a showroom or flagship store and try them all out. I personally have the LuxeBreeze medium hybrid and I love it.
LuxeBreeze Firm, of course is the second most expensive Tempur-pedic. People with larger frames will usually need a lot more support in general, even if they sleep on their sides. If they are taller as well and the weight is more evenly distributed the LuxeBreeze Medium Hybrid might be a better fit. The breeze lineup just because it keeps people cooler. Can attest and so can my customers. Have her go try it out at a flagship store and try them in person.
LuxeBreeze is a damn good mattress for coolness, I’m surprised you’ve seen hate about them. Maybe just because of the “foam”. Aireloom is also a really good option. Assuming you’re going for a king size a 10k budget should get you a pretty great mattress set.
This. It sucks but the best thing to do is go spend an hour at least trying out different beds in person. If you go off only bad reviews you will never find a new bed. Find a store that has good reviews about the salespeople there, and let them guide you. They are there to help. Helping you helps them make money, so it’s in their best interests to get it right the first time. Understand certain bed’s quirks, like tempur-pedics take time to break in, Beauty Rest Black have been get lots of returns etc.
I have been using the tempur pedic luxebreeze hybrid for two years. Never waking up with a back pain again. And I got the outlet version (the ones people returned after trying for a few days) for about 40% off from mattress firm.
We recently got the temperpedic luxebreeze medium in a split king and love it! The only thing that sucks is it's more difficult to cuddle. We need to both squeeze onto one person's half (a twin) to snuggle. And then roll over back to our own side to sleep. So that sucks, but we're both sleeping the best we ever have
I have wide hips & shoulders with a significantly smaller waist, mattresses are a nightmare. Eventually we shelled out for a medium temperpedic luxebreeze and I'm finally getting some rest
I've had a new Tempur Pedic Luxe Breeze Medium Hybrid with an adjustable base for six weeks now. I do not have a split king, so I can't comment on that part. It took me some time to break in the mattress (it arrived frozen, which didn't help). I actually would wake up sore the first week and a half, and my doctor even prescribed me muscle relaxers for the break-in period. After about a couple of weeks, I found it very comfortable. I know it's still breaking in, but I haven't any pain since the first two weeks. I don't have that cocooned feeling yet, but the mattress is still very new. I love my adjustable base. I work on my computer at night sometimes, and also will read or watch TV in bed. I also really like the zero gravity feature for health benefits. My mattress has lumbar support, but I haven't used it much yet. Even though I have a Breeze which is supposed to be cooling, sometimes my mattress does get very warm, but it's winter, so I don't mind. I don't know what it will be like in summer. I don't have a headboard yet, so can't speak to the clearance issue. I'll be getting a one soon though. I'm thus far extremely content with my expensive purchase, and so is my dog. I think the mattress feels good on her joints. One thing to warn you about is if you get a bed with an adjustable base, you might need to get something to help keep your sheets in place, and you'll also need deep pocket sheets. Tempur Pedic gave me a free set because it took over a month for my mattress to be delivered, but my other sheets with deep pockets also work.
Well, mine had to defrost in my dining room for four nights because it was delivered frozen, so I think slouching against my wall during that time definitely helped lol. (The delivery people couldn't haul it upstairs until it thawed out.) Once it was placed on the base, I did crawl on it and roll around, and I also put my heated mattress pad on it the first week (on a low setting). Usually, you shouldn't put heat directly on the mattress because it degrades the foam, but the salesperson told me it would be okay to do in the beginning on a low setting for a short period of time. (Don't worry, the heated mattress pad is now in my closet.) It was still hard the first week and a half, and I had some neck and shoulder pain. Trust the process––it will get better, but it only gets better by you putting in the time. My doctor actually prescribed me muscle relaxers to get through it. Congratulations! I hope you'll love your new bed. I'm very happy with mine.
I'm sensitive to chemicals (like i get migraines from air freshener, fabric softener, laundry detergent with fragrances and dyes), and I have a new Tempur Pedic hybrid. Let it air out for a few days, and it should be fine. Mine aired out for four days before I put it in my bedroom (because it arrived frozen and they delivery people left it in my dining room until it thawed out), and by the time I slept in it, it didn't bother me at all.
Tempur pedic luxe breeze medium hybrid. Bought a floor model from mattress firm, was able to get 50% off.
I had EOS naturepedic latex and it was super uncomfortable for me and it sagged on one side after a year. After that we switched to Tempurpedic tempur breeze hybrid. It’s an amazing mattress from a comfort perspective. I sleep hot regardless of mattress so I have the BedJet to help regulate that. With this combo you can have the best of both worlds. I was anti-foam but the open cell and cooling technology is pretty much on par with latex.
