Tempur-Pedic - PRO® Luxe SmartCool™ Medium Firm

I find mattresses are so subjective that it’s hard to give advice on specific types. What I would recommend is to go to John Lewis and test every single mattress they have in your price range and then find the one you like on sale elsewhere and get JL to price match it for you We ended up choosing the Tempur Pro Luxe SC - Medium Firm, which has helped with some lingering back issues I’ve suffered with

I absolutely love my LuxeBreeze soft, overspent on the base, we got the prosmart when we should have just gotten the ergo. Next mattress will be tempur again.

Best firm mattress I ever had was a tempurpedic from about 10 years ago, I got the medium firm due to a serious back injury, and that was as perfect of a bed I’ve ever experienced. It was absolutely bliss to sleep on.

Not sure firm is what he need! I had sciatica and found medium foam mattress was perfection. I have lots of back issues and love a medium firm tempurpedic husband loves it too. A sleep number might be perfect where you can experiment

I’m pretty sure this is what we have but in medium firm, initially got it in medium but found it too soft so swapped it for a medium firm. I find the medium firm slightly too firm so I have a topper on my side but the medium was too soft for my husband (and I much prefer the medium firm with a topper to the medium alone). Very happy with it

I went to a mattress store last Saturday. I was testing medium firm memory foam mattresses and the sales person had me try Temperpedic. It was my favorite feeling mattress but is way out of my budget. While there, they had the Firm Temperpedic mentioned above. I like a firm mattress but that thing is like a slab of concrete with a thin foam topper on it.

Firm tempur pedic luxe king. We tried them all in store. Did 0 percent financing and got the adjustable base and pillows. Sleeps so good.

Second that. Expensive as shit, but the durability is insane so far. Had it for 5 years and feels as good as the day I bought it. Suspect it will last me 10…maaaaybe 15 years, so the lifetime cost of ownership will probably be the same or maybe marginally more than a much cheaper mattress

+1 for tempur. Have had the luxe 5yrs now and love it

Yeah I think so. Softer mattresses won't last as long but will be more comfortable and help with pressure points. At the end of the day you just want to pick the one that feels best for you. I had a Tempur-Pedic higher end model once that was excellent at reducing pressure points but it didn't last quite as long as I hoped it would and they're expensive. You could also consider a split King bed which is essentially just two Twin XL mattresses next to each other (same as King) so you could each pick out your own mattress.
