We have a Tempur Sensation Elite firm, it's the best mattress I've ever slept on, had it for 2 years and it's still perfect like new. We went to a shop to try out various mattresses and this was the one we both liked the most. I often used to get great sleeps when I went on holiday, I realise now that was probably because I never had a decent mattress until now. And now mostly I don't sleep well on holidays because the mattress is never as good as home.

Firm Tempur-Pedic (adjustable base) with a 3 inch (cooling) topper - best bed I’ve ever had by far. I’ve had a bad back for years and this thing keeps me sleeping like a baby with no pain when I wake up. I didn’t understand people “loving” their beds until I got this one. Bought it 3 years ago and it’s like new. Zero sagging and super sturdy. Since I use a topper and mattress protector, I imagine I’ll get more than the typical 10 years out of it.

We have a split king temperpedic with an adjustable base and love the sleeping aspect. Bad things are no cool patterns for sheets and sheets are very expensive, no suitable bed frames so hard to have a nice bedroom furniture vibe, and the gap makes sex weird sometimes. The bed was also like $10k.  We've had it for 5 years and I dont regret it at all

Tempur-pedic, in firm, King size. Rotate it every month or two. Had it for 7 years now. Been the best mattress I've had.

I switched to a firm memory foam mattress (Tempurpedic) from a standard box spring due to pain and it has been a lifesaver. I don't think I'd ever go back to box springs again. I went to a local store to test beds out. I wouldn't recommend buying one without feeling it first. Good luck!

I’ve actually had all the beds on this list… Saatva was super comfortable, then broke down really quickly. Purple slept so cold that I needed an extra blanket on my bed, but I could never get comfortable on it. I spent way too much on that mattress. It ended up getting lost in a flood after about a year (insurance covered it). My rental last year (while rebuilding from the flood) had Casper. It was fine. Not great. Could have used a little more support. Just typical memory foam bed in a box. My kids currently have Nectar which I feel are pretty similar to Casper. Previously they had Tuft and Needle which were supportive but a little on the firm side. My current setup is my favorite ever - it’s a firm Tempur-Pedic (the one from Costco) with a 3” medium talalay latex topper from Latex Mattress Factory. The firm Tempur-Pedic on its own was too firm. My mom has medium ones at her house and I think they could be a bit more supportive. The firm Tempur-Pedic with a latex topper is amazing. It’s super comfortable but supportive. It sleeps a little warm, but overall it’s still the best combo I’ve found. I would definitely look into latex mattresses if doing it again. I had an issue where there were very few latex options locally (only one that was super soft) and a lot of the online latex options don’t offer great returns. That’s how we ended with our current combo, but if you have latex options locally you should try them out.

You're probably better off in the mattress sub. Personally, I went with Tempur-Pedic. I loved it, but I ended up exchanging it mainly for non sleep related reasons. Also my partner kept waking up sore. If you like memory foam, I do think Tempur-Pedic is the best
