I've had a tempur cloud elite mattress for about 5 years now - it can get a little bit hot especially if you don't have aircon but i don't think i've dealt with any sag or loss of quality! The only thing is i alternate between side and back sleeping and it can be a bit too firm for side sleepers, although I suspect this is an issue because of the alternating rather than the mattress itself. I paid 1.8k GBP in 2020 (as i was in the UK at the time).
Tempur cooling elite. Not cheap but I got mine for £1200 from their outlet website
What mattress would you recommend for me with Lower back pain? I’ve had a Tempur pedic king cloud for now 10 years but my Lower back has been coming back since two months ago. I sleep in my belly/side sleeping I tried new Breeze luxe from Tempur pedic and feels good but it’s nearly 7k for that…. I am also 5”10 weight 265 What would be your top pick?
I've tested more than 100 mattresses, and if I had $2,000, I'd get the Tempur-Cloud. It does an amazing job of contouring to your body, but not everyone loves the Tempur foam. My runner-up would be the Leesa Sapira.
I love Tempurpedic. As a mattress reviewer, I've slept on three models. My favorite is the Cloud, but they all have the Tempur foam, which I've found does an amazing job of contouring to your body. But, it isn't for everyone. Some people are off put by it. I have found they're durable, and the warranty does cover indentation up to 0.75 inches. Most other warranties I've seen are 1.5 inches. https://preview.redd.it/on974f7l5shg1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=afc7505ebfbc5d8491eadf11263f2be8cf3474f3
I’m just not sure any of them are meant to last anymore. I’m a back sleeper, and we ended up giving our kid our Tempurpedic cloud which I loved, because I needed an adjustable base. Our old mattress was at least 10 or more years old, and still has plenty of life. The cheaper memory foams we have in the other bedrooms don’t seem that great. I bought a split king through Costco, and it has a medium and soft side (also the adjustable base). The soft side isn’t too soft, the medium was a bit firmer than we liked. I think it’s Sleep Science. So we’ve had it almost two years, and so far, it seems to be holding up. I’ve read that Tempurpedics aren’t what they used to be. And most mattresses are not made to be forever. They have a definite end point, esp spring mattresses.
Temperpedic cloud from Costco
Also going to agree with another person that s Tempurpedic is hot in summer and in winter it turns so hard and lumpy from cold. I had one a Cloud. Never buy another one
I purchased the cloud. It was so hot to sleep on.
I have a tempurpedic cloud and I sink in a little bit so all points of my back/hip make contact. They used to advertise basically what you are showing, straight spine that’s supported all the way down. I absolutely love my tempurpedic and highly recommend. I’ve been sleeping on one for almost 20 years. Even my kid sleeps on one.
