Tempur-Pedic - TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid (144046P)

We got a 'Tempur-proAdapt 12 Medium Hybrid mattress" so it's Tempurpedic on top, coils below. Imo full Tempurpedic feels luxury but I prefer this hybrid for the support. I like firmer than my partner and this was good for both of us. You can pay extra for the foam to be the cooling foam, which helps because Tempurpedic beds used to trap heat terribly. Only downside is it takes a while to break in, and arrives stiffer than the store model, but that will go faster the heavier you are. (My side is still much firmer than the other over a year out) I can confirm it doesn't squeak at all, and I don't notice my partner moving around as a fairly light sleeper. It rules. Never tried a bed I liked better. YMMV, idk what sort of back pain causes other people are dealing with. For whatever it's worth, we were buying at the whims of a pars defect, pars fracture, + spondylolisthesis. If your back problems are bad, I really really recommend trying lots of beds at some show floors. I could personally not just buy an online mattress for the FOMO it would cause.

Saatva Classic or Tempur-Pedic ProAdapt, both durable, supportive, and great for long-term comfort.

I had a wonder Tempurpedic for 19 years which I bought at Brookstone. Best mattress ever. It was time to replace it, and now I am on my third Pro-Adapt and hate them all. The company is not what it once was. So I am now looking for another brand so have been reading comments on this site. 

I'm not sure what your budget is. I am on a very fixed income, but my back was a wreck sleeping on the majority of mattresses I've tried. I have both upper and lower back pain. I learned the hard way that memory foam mattresses just aren't firm enough for me. Though I did have a Temperpedic hybrid mattress that did pretty good. But I've learned that finding budget price coil mattresses is a real challenge now. After seeing some people here on Reddit recommending a Beautyrest PressureSmart 2.0 I scraped together the $1100 it cost to get one, and absolutely love it. It is very firm, so if you don't like a very firm mattresses, this wouldn't be it. But I need super firm and I have been so incredibly happy with it. My back has improved immensely since making the switch.

Got my Tempurpedic hybrid 2 years ago and it still looks like the day it was delivered (I'm 300+ lbs for reference). My mother bought her Tempur 20+ years ago and it is still going strong. Don't cheap out on sleep!

I do not recommend Tempur pedic. I got a hybrid mattress 3 years ago and it’s destroying my back. I had no back issues prior to this mattress. Currently also looking for a new one 😭

I got a Tempur-Pedic mattress. Hybrid. Hate it- it makes my lower back and hips hurt. I can’t wait to replace it. When I stay at hotels and the bed is comfortable I try to note the brand.

Yeah I think so. Softer mattresses won't last as long but will be more comfortable and help with pressure points. At the end of the day you just want to pick the one that feels best for you. I had a Tempur-Pedic higher end model once that was excellent at reducing pressure points but it didn't last quite as long as I hoped it would and they're expensive. You could also consider a split King bed which is essentially just two Twin XL mattresses next to each other (same as King) so you could each pick out your own mattress.

Best firm mattress I ever had was a tempurpedic from about 10 years ago, I got the medium firm due to a serious back injury, and that was as perfect of a bed I’ve ever experienced. It was absolutely bliss to sleep on.
