The boring mattress founder trolls reddit to post and prop up his own product. But goddamn I just bought a queens hybrid because I was only allowed one 100 sleep night with T&N and I wanted to try out the Mint Hybrid because for some reason during Labor Day it was cheaper than the regular queen hybrid. Turned out way too soft. Boring mattress queen hybrid about half the cost of T&N and turns out to be pretty much exact firmness I was looking for. That also said, when I moved the T&N mint to the floor for the two weeks when both overlapped — the support on the ground made that mattress also pretty damn comfortable in a different way. Also slept on a pillow top sealy mattress at a Hyatt, was one of the absolute best nights in a bed I’d ever had. There is a purchase program. I did look into it. But I’m fine with the Boring one I’ve got now.
honestly the mattress firmness thing is a complete mess across brands, you're right about that. what feels medium at one place is gonna be way different somewhere else. for side sleeping in LA without AC those first few months, I'd skip most memory foam honestly, it sleeps hot as hell especially in summer here. look at hybrid mattresses instead, they've got coil systems that actually let air move through so you're not waking up drenched at 3am when it's still 75 degrees in your apartment. if you want specific names, tuft & needle hybrid or Brooklyn bedding signature hybrid both run cooler and work well for side sleepers without breaking your back on price. both are actually medium-soft where it counts (not firm pretending to be medium like some brands do). costco also has decent options if you've got a membership, their return policy is stupid easy if you hate it after a few weeks. whatever you do, make sure there's a solid return window because you won't really know if it works for you until you've slept on it for at least a week or two.
I have enteropathic arthritis. I woke up daily in pain until we got the Tuft and Needle Mint mattress. Have had it for at least 8 years and it is in as good a shape as it was when we got it. No more pain in my hips, knees, shoulders. I recommend this mattress to everyone with pain.
We have Tuft and Needle Mint mattresses in all 3 bedrooms. We love them
Tuft and Needle. I got the original over 10 years ago and it’s still a great mattress. It’s in the guest bedroom now. I now have the Tuft and Needle Mint on my bed. Both kings. Wife and I love them.
Same here; Tuft and Needle Mint, have had it for 6 years and it's still great.
