The boring mattress founder trolls reddit to post and prop up his own product. But goddamn I just bought a queens hybrid because I was only allowed one 100 sleep night with T&N and I wanted to try out the Mint Hybrid because for some reason during Labor Day it was cheaper than the regular queen hybrid. Turned out way too soft. Boring mattress queen hybrid about half the cost of T&N and turns out to be pretty much exact firmness I was looking for. That also said, when I moved the T&N mint to the floor for the two weeks when both overlapped — the support on the ground made that mattress also pretty damn comfortable in a different way. Also slept on a pillow top sealy mattress at a Hyatt, was one of the absolute best nights in a bed I’d ever had. There is a purchase program. I did look into it. But I’m fine with the Boring one I’ve got now.

honestly the mattress firmness thing is a complete mess across brands, you're right about that. what feels medium at one place is gonna be way different somewhere else. for side sleeping in LA without AC those first few months, I'd skip most memory foam honestly, it sleeps hot as hell especially in summer here. look at hybrid mattresses instead, they've got coil systems that actually let air move through so you're not waking up drenched at 3am when it's still 75 degrees in your apartment. if you want specific names, tuft & needle hybrid or Brooklyn bedding signature hybrid both run cooler and work well for side sleepers without breaking your back on price. both are actually medium-soft where it counts (not firm pretending to be medium like some brands do). costco also has decent options if you've got a membership, their return policy is stupid easy if you hate it after a few weeks. whatever you do, make sure there's a solid return window because you won't really know if it works for you until you've slept on it for at least a week or two.

I have enteropathic arthritis. I woke up daily in pain until we got the Tuft and Needle Mint mattress. Have had it for at least 8 years and it is in as good a shape as it was when we got it. No more pain in my hips, knees, shoulders. I recommend this mattress to everyone with pain.

Tuft and Needle. I got the original over 10 years ago and it’s still a great mattress. It’s in the guest bedroom now. I now have the Tuft and Needle Mint on my bed. Both kings. Wife and I love them.

Same here; Tuft and Needle Mint, have had it for 6 years and it's still great.

We have a Tuft and Needle Mint Mattress going on about 8 years now, its been good. Also have a 14" Novaform Gel mattress from Costco on our guest bed that is very comfy. For what's it worth my parents prefer the $700 Novaform when they visit over their super expensive Sleep Number Bed at home that they probably paid close to $10,000 for.

We are in the mattress hunt as well. We currently have a Tuft and Needle Mint mattress. We have had this mattress for 12 years or so. We absolutely LOVE it. The only reason we are mattress hunting is because we’d like to go from Queen to King due to our pets sharing the bed with us. So we don’t actually need a new mattress and there is nothing wrong with our Mint. We have had zero issues with it after a these years. We were thinking of just getting another Tuft and Needle, however after learning about the merger not going as hoped and thus the quality diminishing after the T&N founders stepped away we decided against another Tuft and Needle. We have read countless reviews on all the highly rated mattresses including Winkbed, Saatva, Helix, etc, etc, and many reviewers say they had issues with sagging (among other issues) only a few months in. So our search continued. We soon discovered that the founders of Tuft and Needle recently started a new mattress company called Boring Mattress (love the name!). We are fortunate enough to live in AZ so we scheduled an appointment to see their 2 mattresses. I cannot say enough good things about our appointment. One of the founders was there and was so informative about the company, materials used and how their mattresses are a lot like what T & N was when they were involved. The Boring Hybrid felt identical to our Mint. It was a great visit and it solidified our plans to purchase from Boring. Highly recommend looking into them. The comfort, quality, price point, and customer service all sold us. Best of luck in your search and I hope you find the perfect mattress.

I love my Tuft and Needle Mint mattress. My aunt and uncle stayed and loved it too so they bought one. Then my dad tried it and bought one too. We’ve had ours for 5 years and it still feels great.
