10 inch , memory foam mattress
I was in the same spot recently, and yeah, it’s super confusing because every brand claims to be orthopedic or premium. From what I’ve seen (and used), the safest move on a budget is to go for a simple, medium-firm memory foam mattress from brands like Wakefit or Sleepyhead. Nothing fancy, just something consistent that doesn’t sink too much. The cheaper ones that feel super soft usually feel great for a couple of weeks and then start sagging. Also, don’t get too caught up in all the cooling gel and layer marketing. What actually matters is that it supports your back and holds its shape. If possible, pick one with a trial period, so you’re not stuck if it doesn’t work for you. If your current mattress isn’t completely dead, another option is just adding a 2–3 inch memory foam topper. It’s way cheaper and can make a noticeable difference.
I’m a side sleeper and have been getting back pain for the past three years. I wake up with a sore back, and during my sleep I feel the pain. However, once I’m up, after 1-2 hours there’s no pain during the day. It only starts while sleeping, usually after I’ve been asleep for about 4-5 hours. When it starts, I find it difficult to turn - my lower back feels jammed - and it completely ruins my sleep.. I’ve tried different mattresses at home (Wakefit memory foam, old-school cotton mattress, foam mattress, etc.), but all of them cause the same pain. Initially, during the first one to two years, the pain used to be on and off. I’d have it for 2-3 weeks, and then it would subside for few weeks. But for the past few months, the pain hasn’t subsided at all - I get it every single day. I wake up with a sore lower back and get very poor sleep at night because I’m unable to turn sides. Lying flat on my back while sleeping is the most difficult. Which mattress would you recommend? Or should I go for a mattress topper to try out?
I got king size 6 inch wakefit shapesens orthopedic in 7500 during bbd sales
I liked the comfort it offers, sleep quality improved marginally, and it is low to medium firmness rest depends on how much you weigh, but if you're over 80kg then order 8 inch
