I bought the mattress from amazon: B00Q7EPPDA (search this, it's the product ID). It's on the firmer side and is currently $318. I've slept on it for the last 5 years and only switched to a different mattress due to wanting to sleep on a queen size makes.

I went with a Zinus Short Queen Mattress - 8 Inch Green Tea Cooling Gel Memory Foam Mattress off Amazon about 3 years ago (or more) and found it was far superior to a regular mattress. Never regretted it. If you go this route, see if you can find a cover for it first.

I got a cheap 8" zinus memory foam mattress ($200 )about 6 years ago for the guest room. People still love it. I also got a more expensive ($1200) sleepez latex hybrid mattress that is pretty awesome as well. It's quality materials. I recommend the latex hybrid or a get a cheap zinus or novella or lucid from Amazon. The more you spend or dwell on the decision, you'll find more faults with it.

Sinus brand through Walmart is pretty good, it’s what my husband and I use and we really like it. It was nowhere near $1500. We have the 8 inch memory foam queen size and we paid less than $300 for it and have used it for over 5 years. We got a full size for a guest bed we had awhile back and everyone loves it so it was a good move.

I wish I knew where to was because my husband got the bonus for our guest room he can sleep in on weekends (he snores) and he hates it and it's too firm for him..zinus gave us refund and said to dispose ourselves.

My last two mattresses were at vastly different price points and I honestly enjoyed both of them. I had a Zinus memory foam mattress, the one with green tea, for a total of 7 years. I loved it and the only reason I got rid of it was due to a size change. Right now I’m rocking a Tempurpedic Cloud Supreme and I also really like it. If you’re budget conscious though, I don’t think it’s worth it to splurge on this compared to the Zinus or any of its competitors. I have yet to get into the really high end stuff, or unique materials such as wool or latex. Maybe I will at some point but I will wait for this Tempurpedic to need replacing. I know that Tempurpedic isn’t even close to the best according to most, but if the TempurPedic for me was a 10/10, the Zinus wasn’t far behind. Maybe an 8.5 or 9 in comparison. You can’t beat that for being close to a tenth of the price.

FWIW, I recently stayed in an Airbnb and slept on a Zinus mattress from 2018. Best night of sleep I’ve ever had, woke up with Zero aches or pains. Primarily a Side Sleeper with occasional stomach. I currently have an Amerisleep AS5 and while it’s held up great it’s too plush to provide the necessary back support I need. Prior to that I ordered a Casper which was unbearable and returned after 3 days. I went down a rabbit hole, multiple reviews and the reality is that everyone is different and therefore will have different results between mattresses. It’s honestly overwhelming, not in a good way, in the amount of companies and products out there. I decided it’s best to order something I had a great experience with. As someone wrote on this sub it’s worthwhile to consider a cheaper mattress, replacing it often than an expensive one which might be a gamble. I’ve also considered Costco for the return policy but saw that there are multiple negative reviews for all their products. I would say the best way is to try the mattress out as even if for a short while at a store, before blindly ordering one online.

I currently have the Sealy Mount Auburn purchased in 2021. I previously had a cheap Zinus MF, and it was definitely better in comparison. However, I found it to be quite firm and started the long journey of matress toppers to gain better pressure point relief for side sleeping. The matress is in perfect condition with no sagging, but after 4 years, I feel it's just not for me. It's not bad but not great. I highly recommend a sturdy wooden frame/foundation as it did improve my comfort level some. Buying from Costco is always a win with the service and return policies, so trying it is literally risk-free.
