I have a Zinus narrow twin mattress. It's 30 inches wide, and I chose the 6 inch version, which is 1 inch of memory foam and 5 inches of regular firm foam. It's pretty comfortable. Not amazing, but definitely an upgrade over my previous car beds.
Highly recommend the Zinus 6” on Amazon. The cover has a zipper that’s a bit of a bit** to open up, but with some pliers and a little wiggling you can get it. I cut it easily with an electric turkey knife. Super comfy. I did the 8” on my last van and that was nice too but harder to bend up to put sheets on. I’d recommend the 6”

12, dont get the lumbar support+ its total trash, seriously bad.
Only the green tea version is good from zinus. The rest is trash. But the Green tea punches way above its weight, probably thanks to economies of scale at this point, letting them price out the competition.
FWIW, I recently stayed in an Airbnb and slept on a Zinus mattress from 2018. Best night of sleep I’ve ever had, woke up with Zero aches or pains. Primarily a Side Sleeper with occasional stomach. I currently have an Amerisleep AS5 and while it’s held up great it’s too plush to provide the necessary back support I need. Prior to that I ordered a Casper which was unbearable and returned after 3 days. I went down a rabbit hole, multiple reviews and the reality is that everyone is different and therefore will have different results between mattresses. It’s honestly overwhelming, not in a good way, in the amount of companies and products out there. I decided it’s best to order something I had a great experience with. As someone wrote on this sub it’s worthwhile to consider a cheaper mattress, replacing it often than an expensive one which might be a gamble. I’ve also considered Costco for the return policy but saw that there are multiple negative reviews for all their products. I would say the best way is to try the mattress out as even if for a short while at a store, before blindly ordering one online.
We put [these ](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MTVPYD7?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) Amazon mattresses in both the trailers we have had and they are great. They come in different thickness and I suppose you could cut them to fit if needed.
