Hello, I'm using Aruba Instant On AP22 in my home but only wired. The setup is easy and you can control it from everywhere but you have to accept working with cloud. Meshing is good and you can do mesh without being wired (the master need to be wired). In your case, i suggest you to put de second AP near the master. You have more than 10m between them with few walls. I thing in the dining or bed2 could be better. Make test and see what happen. FYI : if the second AP is in wireless meshing with poor connection (so bad bandwidth) to the master, every device connected to it will have this bad bandwidth maximum. Last but not least, try to use different radio channel on each AP (With Aruba you can manage it) for 2.4 and 5 Ghz, neighborhoods can impact your wifi too. I hope, i was clear, english is not my main language
r/HomeNetworking • Best reliable Mesh Router ->If you want a more plug and pay alternative to unifi/ubiquiti, try Aruba Instant On. It is HO Enterprise's line for small businesses. Everything sets up through a dead simple app on your phone. Last I checked a few months ago, thigh, their Wi-Fi 7 lineup was not out yet. The advantage of the line is you get the rock solid hardware (really identical to their large enterprise products, but with different firmware), and a brush line including models for desktop, wall/ceiling mount, or outdoor use. The support is very good, too, though you have to pay to continue support after the warranty expires.
r/wifi • Trying to purchase the best wifi system for my home ->I had the same initial reaction but the sub name is „HomeNetworking“ for a reason. Personally I also use Aruba Instant On at home but that doesn’t mean that everyone has to buy business or enterprise grade hardware.
r/HomeNetworking • I analyzed the 20 most recommended mesh wifi systems on Reddit ->75+ devices on my home network. Used to use Aruba Instant APs. Happy with Eero 6. Zero issues.. Any decent up to date system that manages all nodes and radios will work fine.
