"tplink just works ... I follow up with my customers each month and they say everything is much better and working great. I only hardwire nodes, never wireless, and I buy the wifi6e versions- I’m not saying tplink is better than Unifi, just saying a hardwired network and wifi where you need it is the recipe."
"I noticed a BIG improvement once i conected all my decos via ethernet. ... I hate cables but it was a game changer, i use smart products from different brands and now i don't have any issues with disconections!! ... Some meross plugs disconected all the time before wiring my decos, now they work flawless!"

I replaced my three XE75s with three BE95s a year ago. For six or seven months the 95s were extremely stable, but something started happening in September and I’ve had stability and speed problems since. A month ago I received an apology out of the blue from ATT that said a software update had caused my internet equipment to have “connectivity hiccups” and that it had been rectified. After that, I still had speed issues from the internet and also within my home network. I finally called TP Link customer service and after running through the drill with no success, a young lady with a firm understandable voice asked me to check my QoS settings. (I didn’t know I had QoS or settings.) The bandwidth was set to 800. Which apparently cut all my speeds to 800 or less… And along with it my stability was terrible. I have a 2gb fiber plan and 10gb wiring and switches in the house. I flipped the bandwidth setting to 2500 which is the BE95’s max. It’s been golden ever since! I’m back to being a BE95 fan again.
Not gonna lie. Netgear lifer but not anymore! Switched from 970s to Deco BE95! Unbelievable experience. Dedicated WiFi 6E/7 SSID. 4-5 GBPS download on WiFi 7 devices!!!! I’m speechless. Zero drops for 2 weeks and no iPhone WiFi issues. It just works! Amazing speeds! Any questions, just let me know and I’ll share my experiences or expertise.
You must have gotten a dud. Deco BE95 system. Simply amazing. Had it for 12 weeks now. Zero drops. 5800 sq ft home. ISP 6 Gig up and Down. Wired backhaul. 121 connected devices. Wired devices that can handle multi gig speeds - 6 GIG WiFi 7 - 2.5-4.3 GIG WiFi 6E - 1.8-2.4 GIG WiFi 6 - 1.1-1.6 GIG WiFi 5 - 600 mbps - 900 mbps WiFi 2.4 - 200-500 mbps The consistency, reliability and speed blow every simple competitor out of the water in my experience! Amazing system and have tried them all! Eero Max 7, Orbi 970s, Asus ZenWifi
BE95 three pack all the way. You won’t be disappointed. I love when I’m using a WiFi 7 160 MHz device and I get 2.5-2.8 GBPS on WiFi and when I get 3.1-3.6 speeds on WiFi 7, 320 MHz devices when I’m 10-15 ft away! Love love love it! It is true that they have not released an update for quite some time. Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing.
Go BE95. I have the main router and 2 satellites. Switched from Orbi 970. The BE 95’s have shown themselves to be much more reliable. 970’s weren’t worth the ridiculous price I paid.
I dumped Google's Nest Pro for the TPlink BE95 and been great! Real wired backhaul, and wireless if you want. I think that you probably want a wired backend. Do you have coax cable in your home? You can link everything up with Docsis 2.5 GBps using those runs without having to run new wire. Alternately, you could look Ethernet over power. I think they have 2.5 Gbps for that too.
We started with a TP-Link BE95 setup and ended up returning them because of the device and internet drops. Seems to be a common issue with their brand and no telling if they will ever get that fixed with firmware updates. Also very confusing with multiple SSID’s for 2.4/5 GHz, 6 GHz and MLO. Felt like maybe the speed and range was slightly better than Eero but reliability was terrible. We switched over to a three unit Eero Max 7 setup and been very happy. Haven’t had any disconnects or internet drops since we switched and the system has been up for about three weeks now. While I don’t own any WiFi 7 devices we wanted to future proof plus we are running a wireless backhaul setup so figured the routers would benefit talking to each other with the better technology. BestBuy has a pretty good deal going on now. It’s on sale for $165 off of a two unit setup and $340 off the three unit setup. They also had a trade-in offer where you bring any old networking device for them to recycle and they give you a 15% off coupon. That brings the price down to $836 for a two unit setup and $1156 for the three unit.
I have the BE95 and they are great. No issues, I run them in AP mode over wireless backhaul. I don't even have MLO turned on and I am maxing out at 2.1Gbps on my 6e and 7 devices.
I got a 2 pack on black Friday for $699, I needed something that's supporting 10g so for 699 totally worth it. If you don't need 10g support for sfp+ and 10g ethernet then you probably don't need to spend full price on it.
I have two TP-Link Deco BE95 over wifi backhaul and they work great. I do plan on connecting them with fiber backhaul soon with a backup Cat6.
I believe one issue with the be95 is that the 2.4 GHz channel is wifi6 so it does not aggregate with the MLO, at least that's my experience. It is a dual 6GHz model though, so you have both high and low channels that are now usable with devices.
The BE95 is supposed to be their flagship mesh unit. I’ve got six of them and the 10Gbps setup at home is great, but the support story is rough. No firmware updates in almost a year while their other gear gets updates all the time. I still hit weird bugs like losing IPv6 from my ISP every week, which forces a full network reboot. Some key features are still missing too, like IPv6 VPN support.
I went all in with a 4 band BE900 and love it. My house is 1000 sq ft with a large yard. I had been using an Asus mesh system but no longer need the second access point.
The three pack sounds like a perfect match to me, unless you have an oddly laid out home (and probably even then). If you are able to run an ethernet backbone, that is always best, but mesh mode should still provide really good wifi coverage. All Deco units are fully compatible, up to the individual unit's capabilities. The X50 area won't benefit from all the BE95's capabilities, but it won't downgrade the BE95 performance in any way. So yes, you can add the X50-Outdoor to a BE95 setup.
