If weight isn’t of a concern, just get a classic flannel-lined Coleman. They’re by and far the best. You can usually find them on sale at Big 5 or other sporting good stores
The problem I've had with big square bags in cold weather is the foot box. It's too big and gets cold spots. I jam a shirt or jacket down there to fill in the corners I have a Coleman Big Game sleeping bag. It's big and warm.
