Marmot - Sawtooth Doublewide Bag (2024)

while i have a very warm bag around that price range, i have recently upgraded/changed my set up... I have Mountain Equipment Helium 200 bag (-1s rated), AND a quilt from Aliexpress. They both pack down very small. reason i have gone with this set up, is that any combination of the 2 will set you up for almost all weather you will come across in the UK. below 0 - i can use the bag and quilt. not so cold, the bag alone Warm/hot, the quilt alone extremely cold - i have my Marmot Sawtooth (-16c rated.) Mountain equipment bag and aliexpress quilt should be around your budget. FYI - you lose more heat through the floor, so that mat is actually the most important for warmth. (Bestway from Amazon is around £40 and has very good verified specs) - search this sub for more info on it.

3 person tent for 2 people. We use a Big Agnes double pad and double marmot bag. Works for us

Marmot is a solid brand, like the other commentor said its a personal choice. I would invest in the Marmot down fill bag myself and thats based on the longevity and utility of all my other Marmot purchases.
