Honestly I bought a Nemo Ramsey 15 a number of years ago and it was terrible, enough for me to avoid Nemo sleeping bags. Maybe it was just that model or something but I forever woke up looking like a chicken covered in tiny feathers and right from the get go it was clearly understuffed. It was much colder than a number of my friends 9-15 rated sleeping bags. I've since got a different bag that is rated to the same temperature after learning more about fill weight/power and it's clear that Nemo bag was a piece of junk. The kicker is Nemo seems like a great company and even sent me another one assuming the one I got was a lemon, and it was the exact same thing. I don't think I'd go back to Nemo for a sleeping bag

My NEMO Disco 15 (Mens long) compresses to about 9" X 11"

I have the nemo disco 15 in the big boy size.  If you get cold easily,  I'd recommend the little bit of extra bulk and weight for the 15. The spoon shape is much nicer than a mummy bag

I sleep like you and it’s been the bane of my backpacking experience for the last 40 or so years. A few years ago, my husband bought me a Nemo side sleeper sleeping bag for Christmas. I was a little skeptical, but it actually helps a lot. I can’t remember what it’s rated to. It’s definitely not for extremely cold nights, but I don’t know if there are options in that. For car camping one of the main things I do is carry a wider pad. That way when I pull my knee up into the side, it at least stays on the pad and isn’t on the cold hard ground. As someone else mentioned, I also keep some extra gear in a stuff sack, and use that underneath my knee, which helps for warmth and back comfort.

You could use a Paria quilt of you want to try that route. Saying that I just bought my wife a disco 15 and tried it. They are very nice and not claustrophobic at all.

If you’re having issues you could place the disco loose into the bag without the stuff sack, it allows it to contour to the space inside the bag more. Same with the hammock and underquilt. Then when you cram everything else in there it should compress it and make more room. If that sounds like a chaotic mess to you then at least just do it with the disco in the lower backpack compartment.

I love my Disco 15, it’s so warm and comfortable. Not the lightest option out there but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
