I have the -2c version and camped around that temperature without going to extreme measures as wearing thermo clothes. They also market it for being for women specifically with where the padding is.

Sizing, quality of pad straps, or user error are all possibilities if you've had better luck with a bag over the quilt. Also, audio books with a sleep mask headset and ear plugs.
