Might be outside of your price range but I bought a 0º Teton bag from Amazon and I’m happy with it. Example: https://www.amazon.com/Celsius-Regular-Sleeping-Weather-Included/dp/B005EPROQO?th=1
I have this bag (0F) and it's very comfortable. Just camped in Colorado at 8,200 feet, got down to high teens/low 20's, and I was toasty warm. I did not need a blanket, the bag was enough.
We use Teton Celsius 0F bags for camping in cooler temps - they come in 20F, 0F, and -25F versions. It looks like their regular mummy bags are also available in 0F if you don't want to shell out for the down version. They're on sale right now. With that and a properly rated pad, you should be comfy. You can always add blankets and clothing layers as well.
I've got a Teton Celsius (0 rating I think). It is comfy and pretty darn warm. I've used it a few nights in low 30's in t shirt and shorts and didn't get cold until really early in the morning. The only negative is that it is bulky, but if you not back packing that's really not an issue. I'm a bigger guy and its got plenty of room for me and has held up really well for the price.
Teton 0 degree bag, it's big and heavy but it's very comfy and like 80$
i honestly dont know how much warm it provides but i like my s2s reactor bag liner. much better feel than my nylon quilt. but matched with my paria 15deg quilt, ive found it a good winter camp combo. that's with a nemo tensor extreme and ccf pad. also have a zero deg teton bag i use at hunting camp. thing is budget friendly ($100) bulky and wicked cozy. if space isnt concern, and budget is, its a good option. can look into bedrolls too. can throw certain setups in a snowbank and sleep cozy. have no product experience tho
I have the teton bags. I have the 0f and the 20f. I have used the 0f down to 17f and i was cold all night. I would add 20 degrees to those ratings to be comfortable but they work and do the job. Make sure you plan the temperature accordingly. This will make or break your trip. Dont forget an inflatable pad and a closed cell foam pad too, it adds to the warmth and comfort.
I also have a Teton 0F bag and it’s great. Used it earlier this month when it got down into the 40s at night. Wool socks and a hat make a huge difference too. I love that sleeping bag.
Lot of good replies here already. If you're car camping, Id recommend a exped megamat duo and two Teton sleeping bags. They make a very good low temp bag, and they're big. Buy a left and right for you and her and they will zip together too! Much better than a mummy or sleeping bag. Warming water bottles by the fire is a game changer too. Stay warm while you sleep. Probably the only thing that really matters when camping in low temps. If you can't warm you'll be miserable. As an aside, blankets under your pad don't do a whole lot because the insulation comes from the air in the blanket. When you lie on top of it you compress the insulation. It's better than nothing, but it's a pretty compromised experience.
The Teton sleeping bags are really warm and comfy.
