Therm-a-Rest (Cascade Designs, Inc.) - Parsec 32F/0C Sleeping Bag

I switched from a sleeping bag to a quilt three years ago and have never looked back. I'm a side sleeper, prefer the flexibility and freedom of movement that a quilt affords me, a sleeping bag does not. I appreciate the lighter weight of my quilt as well. I live in southern Alberta, about 40 minutes from the foothills on the eastern edge of the Rockies, and I camp in the backcountry year-round. I still own a Therm-a-Rest Parsec 20F sleeping bag, but it’s been three years since I last used it. It served me well in winter when paired with my Therm-a-Rest Corus 20F quilt. I run hot—except for my feet, which can be temperamental on cold nights. I now own four quilts: three from Enlightened Equipment and one more from Therm-a-Rest. I generally avoid nights colder than 10°F / -12°C, but I’ve been caught in -4°F / -20°C.
