Tuuuuuurd_Ferguson 0.5I have used also used the MSS and come to same conclusion. To lighten up I have picked up thermarest corus quilt and questar sleeping bag. Sleeping bag have loop where the quilt can hook and recreate the MSS. And it can keep me comortable at 0F/-18C. MSS could not do that. Instead of bivy i have switched to tarp.
