Zenbivy is worth taking a look at, their 10deg bag is very warm for the rating and they have a -5 as well. The rectangular XL is what I’ve used. It’s a 2 piece kit, one piece attaches to your pad and the sleeping bag clips to that to prevent/eliminate drafts.
I just bought their warmest down quilt, sheet, pillow and drybag combo. I already had a nice pad. This thing is freakin‘ luxurious! It was expensive but the quality is obvious.
I have two zenbivy quilts (10° down and 40°) and LOVE them. I toss a half sheet on my backpacking sleeping pad and I’m set to go. I’m happier piecing together my gear than getting a bundle. However, the 10° is VERY warm and that might be overkill. It keeps me the coziest in below freezing temps- temps I would never motocamp in. Edit: I don’t notice the price of the sleeping pad. I have never used a zenbivy sleeping pad but there are definitely cheaper pads out there that will pair with a sheet just as well. My rec: get the quilt and a last-season sheet, get a cheaper and highly rated pad. Pillows are so personal so good luck on that one.
Something to consider is Zenbivy's UL 25° degree quilts are under filled when compared to other manufactures for similar limit rating range and may be colder as a result (*however, individual results may vary*). The UL 10° degree quilts are more on par regarding fill weight with other brands and IMO more consistent with the comfort/limit rating than the 25° degree quilt. Good luck.
I started using a zen bivy for cold weather stuff. It’s a 10 degree setup. Almost as bulky as a bag, but infinitely more comfortable to me. I would highly recommend checking them out. As far as a standard quit setup, I have used a stone glacier 32 degree quilt at much colder temps by sleeping in my layers. I’ve used an outdoor vitals quilt a few times and was comfortable. I have not personally used a Katabatic quit, but they are highly regarded for quality. I have a bivy from them and it’s been great. Enlightened Equipment is another brand to check out.
I know zenbivy is looked down upon in general on these subs, but honestly it’s awesome. I can’t stand mummy bags, so a quilt with an attachable bedsheet is clutch. Stayed sung as a bug, no cold drafts. I waited for a sale too and it was worth it. I got the 10 degree light bag which stuffs down in my pack nicely. Only thing is I can smell the duck down so personally I would spring for the ultralight goose down for my next one.
I see a lot of people say it’s an overpriced social media brand. They’re def pricey, which is why I only bought on sale. But they’re the only ones I know that have the attached clip sheet.
