Bruh I do transparencies, print photos, make posters business cards lol. I love this printer
PIXMA ix6820 $189 prints up to 13inx19in . Order refillable printer cartidges for the PIXMA ix6820, then set DMAX black UV blocking dye. Trust me you do all this (ehhhhhh bout $325) you got EVERYTHING you need. Super opaque transparencies
Lmao bro the community has spoken 6820
I prefer the Canon i6820 which works great and borderless up to 11x17
Nah this person is so wrong lmao. You can get a Canon Pixma that does 12x18 prints starting at $200 then a separate scanner or use your phone for scans.
Canon Pixma line for printing and get a separate scanner. Also you might not need a scanner anymore as your phone camera can handle scanning quite well - especially if you’re just using the image to trace into vector etc.
I’m not going to lie…. I literally hate printing at home LOL and coming from someone who HAS two printers 😭😭😭 dealing with smudges and hand feeding the paper eats up a lot of your time especially if you deal with thicker paper I use the pixma pro 200-s, but for you the ix6820 should do the trick
i'd spend an extra 25-45 bucks on the Canon Pixma 6820. it prints much bigger paper size, the refilable cartriges are $20 cheaper, and i've never seen the printer you're asking about, but the 6820 couldn't be easier to remove the print head if you need to do really deep cleaning.
The canon pixma 6820 can be grabbed for under $200 new and it can print 13x19 prints. With it to just grab a new one. So many issues with used printers. Huge risk the print heads are clogged and the print heads can cost more than the printer itself to replace. Unless you know it will work inkjet printers are probably the worst thing in screen printing to get used.
For 220gsm cardstock, i’d look less at the headline gsm number and more at the paper path. A printer can say 300gsm photo paper and still hate thick matte cardstock, because glossy photo paper feeds differently. What helped me before was choosing models with a rear feed or manual feed slot, since the paper bends less than in a tight front cassette path. The [Epson EcoTank ET-8550](https://featherab.com/shopit?q=Epson%2BEcoTank%2BET-8550%2Bprinter) is a common fit if you want high quality color work, while the [Canon Pixma iX6820](https://featherab.com/shopit?q=Canon%2BPixma%2BiX6820%2Bprinter) is a simpler wide-format option people use for cardstock projects. I’d still check the manual for cardstock weight, not just photo paper weight.
