I used to have an Epson Stylus Photo 1400 inkjet printer. Its capable of creating full bleed prints up to 13" wide. I have a number of prints from that printer hanging on my walls, and they've all lasted years and years without any degradation of quality. That said, unless you're cranking out prints constantly for customers, keeping a quality photo printer topped up with ink is no picnic. It's just not worth it other than in a few edge cases. Online photo printing services are cheap, reasonably fast, and dramatically simplify your life.
