Looks like a good option. I've got a used Stylus Pro 7800 and love being able to use bulk ink in it. I have it converted to Cone Color inks and have all my own profiles and am generally very happy with the results. Definitely need to keep the inks moving though, it's a pain in the ass to clear blockages
well it's got 8 x 220ml, but for some reason epson were allowed to patent that cart size so i've got 8x350ml instead (they stick out the front a little). Even used they go for $2000 so there's no way I'd have bought it at that price, but it's nice to be able to make big prints and there's something wonderful about seeing your work printed. The design agency my partner works for was going to trash it when they bought a new one, and they were happy to see her swipe it off the dock.
Look for a second hand 24 β Epson 7880. I purchased one secondhand in 2014 and itβs still works great. Ink can be purchased at a reduced price on eBay. Except yellow. You should always buy yellow ink new. You can probably find one in the US for $700-$1000 if you searched hard. I do see them listed in Canada. The only problem: Only one type of black ink can be loaded at a time. So you have to decide whether you want to print on matte paper or glossy paper. You can use photo black ink on matte paper, but you cannot use matte black ink on glossy paper.
