i have the HP sprocket for colour pictures and things i’d like to collage with their collage feature, then i have a kodak memo shot era for black and white pics i also use it as a label maker as they have that feature in their app and the film was so cheap for this thing. both of these printers have sticky backs but the picture quality is significantly better on the hp sprocket but the vibes the kodak black and white pics bring to the table means it will always have a place in my journal

I bought it and returned it right away. Only takes the proprietary printer paper and the camera takes stretched photos. Printing from the phone is good without any stretching, so it's the camera in the device. Print quality was great though. But I don't want stretched photos...

I also have found mine to output the highest quality I've seen, but idk if its just my device, but i cant really take anything that isnt in full light i really wish there was a flash on the device. I cant for the life of me get the camera to connect via bluetooth either. Which is strange considering one of the reviews i saw said this was one of the only cameras that didn't give them connection issues

It's shaped like a range finder or a toilet paper. one end is the camera and on the opposite is the circular display. it's an odd choice but it works with the form. the screen is bright enough to see outdoor. It has a cute 35 mm film-like cartridge and inside is just a high quality thermal paper, nothing light sensitive. I guess I would just manually re-roll a sticky thermal paper once the roll runs out. I think it has the best output in all thermal cameras I've owned. I noticed it prints very slowly and behaves like a film with iso 200. photos are best taken in bright environment setting. Even when the display shows some image, if it's dim, it prints completely black. it doesn't have storage but it connects to an app via Bluetooth so it can function as a label printer. The photo is as close as I can get to replicate to the actual print.

yeah, it is pretty expensive for what it is but the result is worth it. 62.30 usd converted. it is possible to reroll but it has a registration sensor, like phomemo, due to its precut paper. i rerolled a paper into its cartridge and it printed ok. then it will look for where the paper ends therefore it will spit out a continuous roll. I found a 50 x 70mm precut thermal sticker on temu and see if it will work.

try turning on location and just do a fresh start. happened to me 4x before a successful connection. also try doing it when kodak has more than 50% charge.

Yea, it's kind of a bummer it's missing basic features that other cheaper cameras have. For the price point, it could've added a few more quality of life things. It makes a fine thermal printer though. I hope a future version comes out with a few more upgrades.

Oh hey, I have this camera too. I think it has the best printer of all the thermal cameras in my collection by far. Sadly, there's no way to really adjust the density or such. It being able to print from the phone is a good bonus. Only issue is finding compatible cheap thermal paper/sticker. It has a sensor that looks for the edge of the sticker if not, it just keeps rolling the cartridge out before error-ing. It doesn't work with any non sticker thermal paper for that very reason. I got it to work with this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DBH8G62X?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share, the 2x3 inch variation. Luckily the kodak cartridges are cheap but if they decide to stop producing it, we would be screwed.

It's a slight downgrade in quality, but honestly still a good print. There isn't an error in the camera itself, it just rolls past a blank sticker and THEN stops, before I got it to stop after printing right after but I guess something happened. So there is an inconvenience but compared to all the other ones tried, I call this one a success.

The Camera has no built in memory that can be accessed/manipulated by User. Only thing you can do, other than printing from camera, is when connected to your phone via a Kodak App, you can edit & print images that way, but still no image storage options that I can find. Camera can also be used as a printer and images from other sources stored on phone can be printed that way, so it does have some goofy features that may appeal to some users.

I find it amusing it seems many people unfamiliar with shooting 35mm film don’t recognize the shape of the Memo Shot camera. It's shaped like a roll of 35mm film. Some other people have said it looks like a Duracell battery. I like the concept of this camera for its uniqueness and 300dpi printing, but the lack of any image storage or access to the images captured is a deal breaker for me. (Correct me if I’m wrong) It’s definitely an “instant” camera/printer. I’ve also read only 18 shots per roll? Less expensive toy cameras at least have storage and access to the color photos they capture. I hope you’ll post more about your opinions and experiences with it.
