I have a 4x6 inch Canon Selphy and really like it. I use it mostly for printing stuff I want to put in my photo albums, not my journal. For my journal, I have 2x3 inch Kodak Step zink printer. There is definitely a learning curve to it, to get the best quality images, but Kodak guarantees that their zink prints DO NOT fade, so it was worth it to me to learn how to make the printer work for me. I color correct as much as possible, but it will never be perfect. I embrace the artsy, lo-fi aesthetic.

I have a Kodak Step zink printer. Kodak says their zink paper does not fade, and I haven’t seen any sign of it fading. Prints I made years ago are just fine.

I have a Kodak zink printer that prints color photos on sticky-backed paper. The image quality is kind of lo-fi, but I love it. It's super handy, and Kodak claims their zink photos won't fade. So far, mine have been perfectly fine even when exposed to bright light for years.

I do 2x3 photos on the Kodak step and it's great! I don't do a ton of photos (I just get big batches at Walgreens printed and supplement with this if I missed a photo or need a reprint or something)

I have a Kodak step, and it has always worked great for me. but - After adding just a few pictures printed on their sticky photo paper, I knew it would be Way too bulky to use for a 1 picture a day monthly spreads! So now I print my month of pictures onto a sheet of washing paper and cut them out, they're already fully adhesive so I don't have to fumble with gluestick on each tiny square!

I was looking through my old journals and the prints from my defunct (my fault) Kodak Zink are still looking great. They always have them up on Depop and Mercari. I’ve been thinking about trying out the $15 dupe on AliExpress.
