I’m glad I didn’t go with the Kodak then! I ended up buying the Liene printer. It is a pain the butt to print out 2x3 photos on a 4x6 sheet but I’ve been editing them through Canva. The Liene app is complete garbage and can’t add any fun borders or edits to the photos. But I will say that the print quality is 9/10! Although it’s time consuming I’m fairly happy I went with the Liene printer

I’ve seen the same thing in regards to the Liene having better print quality, and truer color representation, even with the M100. At least one of the reviewers specifically said she had tried all of the printers she was reviewing (there were 4) with generic refills and all of them worked the same with the generic. She said she suspected it’s all made by the same company as all the printer’s refills had the same form factor. And, the one that printed the best with OEM materials (Liene) also printed the best with generic. So maybe look into that. I’m going to order the Liene today.

Just to update! I did further research and ended up buying the LIENE M100 photo printer. The quality is TOP NOTCH. It would print out as exactly what it looks like from the phone, color is crisp, no blur or discoloration, and I love it!! It needs to be connected so it's not portable but I won't be using it anywhere I won't be sitting down and making crafts or gifts so it works perfectly. Would totally recommend when it comes to quality. I don't know why people are sleeping on this printer? I don't hear the name of it that much compare to KODAK and SELPHY. I'm super happy with my choice :)

I have the Liene 4x6 printer and have loved it. Picked up the Liene mini photo printer and have used so much more than the regular version!! It is a little thick compared to a piece of TRP, but I haven’t had any issues with it adding bulk since it’s one of the few things I put in my cousin.

I use two, the Canon Pixma Pro 100 (which I pair with Canon Pro Luster paper and the official Canon ink when I want archival quality), and the Liene 4x6 Dye Sublimation printer. The Canon is much better for 'serious' work, the kind of thing you would want to hang in a gallery. The Liene is better for just quick and fun prints, vacation snapshots, family photos, stuff like that. Both are great, just different tools for different jobs. edit: I should mention that Canon had a black friday sale every year in which you could get the Pro 100 for about $150 (which is the cost of paper + ink), and it comes with starter amounts of paper and ink. I don't know if they are still doing that, but if so then it's a fantastic deal. At $500 or whatever the normal price is, it's only worth it if you'll be using it a lot or making money from selling prints.

I have a Liene and I like it, too. Second the lighting issue, but very nice for the money. Amazon regularly features the refill packs on Prime sales.

I have a Liene photo printer for 4x6 pictures. I also have an Epson large format for larger prints. I take a portable HP 3755 to crops because it prints decent photos up to 8x10 and also can print journaling boxes and ephemera. How's that for obsessions, lol?

Check out the Liene photo printer, I love it. I make collages in their app and also in other photo apps so I can get multiple smaller sized pics on one 4x6 sheet. The quality is really good but sometimes it prints a bit dark for my liking, so I edit the photos to be a little lighter before printing.

It’s always one ink cartridge for each pack of paper. I remember this because each time I need to reload paper, it’s said I was out of ink and always thought - that worked out well LOL
