I got a liene 2x3 instant mini pocket printer. It’s the best one I’ve found. It’s been stolen 3 times and replaced)
I have the Liene 4x6 printer and have loved it. Picked up the Liene mini photo printer and have used so much more than the regular version!! It is a little thick compared to a piece of TRP, but I haven’t had any issues with it adding bulk since it’s one of the few things I put in my cousin.
I use the liene pearl k100 and do not recommend it
I use a Liene Z-Ink printer. No idea if it will last 20-30 years. But since the photos are taking on my phone and stored on the cloud I can always get the original sourced images.
I love my line pearl mini printer. Colors are not perfect but it makes journaling so much fun! So easy to use. Sticks right on.
Just ordered a Liene today on sale. I just need it to be decent. Will report back. I'm excited to have one!
Alright. I have had it for several days now and I think it is perfect for what I need. Very simple to set up. Colors look great. App is very straightforward. Would definitely recommend!
I have the Liene and am pretty happy with it. I haven’t tried the others though. For the Liene, I transfer the photos to my phone then print the phones from there. If I want to speed up the process, I’ll tether to LR on my iPad, quick edit, then print from the Liene app.
The printer emits its own WiFi and you need to connect your phone to that WiFi.
Check out the Liene photo printer, I love it. I make collages in their app and also in other photo apps so I can get multiple smaller sized pics on one 4x6 sheet. The quality is really good but sometimes it prints a bit dark for my liking, so I edit the photos to be a little lighter before printing.
It’s always one ink cartridge for each pack of paper. I remember this because each time I need to reload paper, it’s said I was out of ink and always thought - that worked out well LOL
I have the Canon Ivy 2 and I do like it for a lot of reasons. It is already sticker-backed, it’s very compact, easy to carry refill sheets (no cartridges), and the software is easy to use. But the colors are always a little bit off. And from what I’m told, they fade after years and years. If you want something to have even a little bit of archival quality, you’ll want to avoid zink. I also have the Instax printer which is super fun, but so heckin’ bulky that it doesn’t really work well for regular or travel journaling. I picked up the Liene photo printer that does sublimation printing and the colors are so significantly better. I do have to create the printable image on different software (if, say, I want 2”x3” photos instead) but the colors are really unmatched. I didn’t think it would be noticeable but it really is. The pen you shared is utterly beautiful!
I have the Liene photo printer, and I haven’t had any issues with it. I just adjust the colors to compensate for the darkness.
