Metallica93Can confirm the BPACT10WT has been solid for 2-3 years. Sadly, it's not cooling as well as it should be now (laser thermometer shows the plastic around the upper vent at 68 degrees when it's set to 64), which is murder when it's trying to battle the heat given off of a dehumidifier :/ Time for a different one.

grofvaMidea DUO unit (or equivalent under another brand) is the best on the market. Black & Decker uses Midea or Gree just like everyone else. Have never seen a Dreo in the US but willing to bet it’s made in China by Midea/Gree. GE/Haier (China) make their own but not fond of anything they make. LG made in Korea but it’s crap.
