Quiet, efficient split; but mold issues and bulky.

Running these analyses costs money. Buy through my links to help keep lights on! I may get a small commission.
This is a crazy take. Dual hose systems are pretty efficient. I got one in my previous place and it had so much extra cooling over what I needed I opened my door and put a fan there blowing out to share some cool air with my roomates.
Sure, I had a Dreo twincool 1200 btu smart inverter portable. Thing barely had to run to keep my room at 68 when it was 95 outside. Like I said I opened the bedroom door and stuck a box fan in there blowing out to share with my roomates. Thing kept the whole 2 bed and bath upstairs much better than it was, with a constant 68 in my room. With a bigger box fan for better air flow I bet it could have regulated the entire upstairs to 68.
For a single hose option, the Dreo portable AC I purchased last year served me well for 5+ months of almost continuous operation in multiple heat waves.
I would go Midea. I was between the Midea and a Dreo but ended up with the Dreo because the housing is white vs the Midea housing being black. The Midea has a bit more power and is smart equipped but at the time the Dreo was on sale, so that's what I went with. It does great for the livingroom. If I need another, I will get the Midea.
https://imgur.com/a/dspN26s hey OP...we have a small 24ft class C so we're a little different than you. we went with this DREO 8000 BTU portable AC for use. it's way quieter than the roof top unit for sure. yes, it's a single hose unit, but in our testing, it's very nice. in our shakedown cruise around napa with temps hovering in mid 80's, we were able to keep our RV pretty comfy set to 74F while parked. we tried having this running while we were driving--it works decent enough. our 50A DC-DC charger supplies almost 600W at highway speeds--it will ramp down usage if it detects the charging system isn't keeping up to keep our starter battery from discharging. (it's a renogy unit). anyways check out the DREO brand. we got it from amazon. this particular unit does have a holding tank which you can manually drain. depending how humid, this one has a non-drain feature. however if it does need to be drained, the unit will let you know. we're getting ready for a trip up the PNW. while it's mostly cool along the coast, when we hit seattle it can get warmish. last year it was mid to upper 80's. we made it up to squamish BC and it was upper 80's outside, which made for not a fun time when it was at night. we're really excited to have this unit to help us out--previously we'd run the motorhome's engine and idle--which isn't great. hope this helps, and good luck !
